Crimes Against Humanity
If You Are Deaf To Hear
The Cries For Help; And
Blind To See The Murder
Of Kids, You’ll Be Questioned
And Punished On The
Day Of Judgment!
(M. Javed Naseem)
The Bible says that you should help the oppressed, the victims of injustice, the orphans, the poor, the needy and the helpless. Do the Christian powerful and rich do that? Why the innocent blood is shed in the streets of Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Kashmir, Yemen, etc.? The Lord says in the Bible:
“This is what the LORD says: ‘Do what is just and
right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one
who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to
the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow, and
do not shed innocent blood in this place.”
– (Jeremiah 22:3)
And Allah commands the believers in the Quran:
“Fight in the way of Allah those who fight
you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does
not like transgressors.”
(al-Quran 2:190)
Allah the Almighty is the Most Just and the Best Judge. On the Day of Judgment, He will question all those who witnessed the genocide of the innocent children, women, the elderly and unarmed civilians by the army of evil-doers, the friends of the Devil, and did nothing. They were just silent spectators to the crimes against humanity; some even sided with the oppressors and killers to please them. All of them will be called to account. They will be questioned and eventually punished for not helping the victims of aggression and oppression. Allah does not like injustice and corruption.
Those who claim to be believers but practically believe in only good life and enjoyment of this world without standing up for justice and Truth; without helping the oppressed and the helpless, the needy and the victims of aggression, they will be in for a shocking interview on the Day of Judgment. They will be treated like the oppressors and aggressors (because they didn’t stop them from evil-doing); and eventually punished severely.
“If a man kills a believer intentionally, his
recompense is Hell, to abide therein (for ever).
And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him,
and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.”
(al-Quran 4.93)
The genocide of Muslims, the murder and killing of innocent children, women and the elderly, the destruction of their homes, properties and crops or livelihood is going on for years now in Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Myanmar, China and Yemen. And the so-called “civilized” world is watching silently, generally ignoring it but sometimes becoming partner in the crimes. The same world had been screaming and demanding use of force in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya and Yemen that consequently resulted in the death of millions of innocent people and the destruction of property/infra-structure worth billions of dollars. And that was all on the pretext of a fake excuse, false accusation and fabricated evidence. Freaking hypocrites!
There are thousands of military personnel and soldiers in dozens of Muslim countries who chant “Allah-o-Akber!” day and night to fool other people but they do nothing to help the helpless, the innocent victims of the aggression and oppression. How strange that they never read the following verses of the Holy Quran in their entire life!
“Why should you not fight in God’s cause
and for those oppressed men, women, and
children who cry out, ‘Lord, rescue us from
this town whose people are oppressors!
By Your grace, give us a protector
and give us a helper!’?”
(al-Quran 4:75)
Are those soldiers and their governments not believers? A believer fights for the cause of Allah. He stands up for justice and righteousness. He fights the injustice, oppression and evil. Allah talks about the Believers in the Quran:
“The believers fight for God’s cause,
while those who reject faith fight for an
unjust cause. Fight the allies of Satan!
Satan’s strategies are truly weak.”
(al-Quran 4:76)
The Bible says:
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” – (Proverbs 31:8-9)
“He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful. So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.” – (Job 5:15-16)
“Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the LORD delivers them in times of trouble.” – (Psalm 41:1)
“This is what the Lord says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.” – (Isaiah 56:1)
“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and oppressed.” – (Psalm 82:3)
Standing up for justice and righteousness is a command of the Almighty Allah. It’s a great virtue the reward for which is Paradise. And Paradise is not cheap! Allah, the Supreme Creator, had commanded even the Messengers and Prophets to fight in Allah’s way; stand up for justice, honesty and righteousness at all costs. And all Prophets/Messengers obeyed that command. Allah helps all those who strive in the way of Allah. Therefore, all Prophets and Messengers were successful in their missions because they fought the evil and Allah granted them victory despite their limited resources and heavy odds. In the war between Good and Evil, the Good always wins! The Good belongs to Allah and He helps those who fear Him and do good.
“(O Prophet!) Do you not see those who were told,
‘Restrain yourselves from fighting, perform the
prayer, and pay the prescribed alms’?
When fighting was ordained for them, some
of them feared men as much as, or even
more than, they feared God, saying,
‘Lord, why have You ordained fighting for us?
If only You would give us just a little more time.’
Say to them, ‘Little is the enjoyment in this world,
the Hereafter is far better for those who are
mindful of God. You will not be wronged by
as much as the fiber in a date stone.”
(al-Quran 4:77)
The fight for the cause of Allah has many aspects – you can do it with your life (body), with your wealth, with your assets, with your talent, your education, your oratory, your writings, your skills, etc., etc. What is important, is your intention to please Allah by joining a struggle for a good cause. What matters most is your support or reinforcement to the righteous camp against the evil camp.
“Those believers who stay at home, apart from
those with an incapacity, are not equal to those
who commit themselves and their possessions
to striving in God’s way. God has raised such
people to a rank above those who stay at home,
although He has promised all believers a good
reward, those who strive are favored with a
tremendous reward above those who stay at
home and high ranks conferred by Him,
as well as forgiveness, and mercy.
God is most forgiving and merciful.”
(al-Quran 4:95-96)
A believer’s best reward for his fight against evil is the martyrdom. There is no fight better than fighting in the way of Allah or fighting for justice and truth. It’s the job of those who have strong faith in Allah and they try to please Him with righteousness – enjoining good and forbidding evil. The faint-heart cannot achieve that noble status. Why fear death when the day and the way of your death is fixed by the Almighty Creator?
“Do not be faint-heart in pursuing the enemy!
If you are suffering hardship, so are they, but you
hope to receive something from God for which
they cannot hope. God is all knowing and wise.”
(al-Quran 4:104)
