ONLY ALLAH CAN GUIDE & HELP YOU! Stay Connected To Your Merciful Creator!

Only Allah Can

Guide & Help You!

Stay Connected To

Your Merciful Creator!

(M. Javed Naseem)

The true guidance comes from Allah, the Supreme Creator and the Most Merciful. He is our Protector, Guardian and the Patron. He sent numerous Messengers and Prophets during different periods of time, to guide us on how to live on the earth without disobeying and displeasing Him.

Generally, the prophets were chosen from the modest families. They impressed people with their exemplary conduct, obedience to God, good moral character, honest dealings and humble talk. They never impressed others with their wealth, material possessions or social status. That was the reason that the most influential or powerful people of their times did not listen to them and opposed the message they brought. They did not consider them ‘important’ as important for them were the tribal leaders, the rich and wealthy. Allah refers to that in the Holy Quran:

They (people of the town) said:

You are only human beings like

ourselves, and the Most Beneficent

(Rahman) has revealed nothing,

you are only telling lies.”

(al-Quran 36:15)

Allah wants humans to believe in Him as He gives them the proof of His might, grace, power, capability as well as His mercy and forgiveness. He does not ask for ‘blind faith’. He wants us to reflect upon His Creation, His signs, His revelations and His message that He conveyed through His messengers. He wants us to think with logic and reason. He wants to educate us and guide us. He asks:

Who has created the seven heavens

one above another, you can see no

fault in the creations of the Most

Beneficent (Rahman). Then look

again. Can you see any rifts?”

(al-Quran 67:3)

The problem with the modern Muslim is that He is Muslim just by name or just because he was born into a Muslim family. That's not enough. A believer is the one who believes in God and obeys His commands. Similarly, a Muslim is the one who practices Islam in letter and spirit. And what is Islam? Islam is the total submission or surrender to the Will of God. That's the true religion; and the only religion prescribed by Allah through all of His Prophets and Messengers. That religion might have different names in different languages and different times.

Unfortunately, today's Muslim does not reflect; does not ponder and does not think. He is madly chasing the material world and its pump. He is after wealth and material gains. Therefore, spiritually and morally he has become bankrupt. He has lost the connection with his Creator, the Almighty. He does not try to seek Him nor do any research on His revelations and signs. All the modern research is coming from the so-called 'Kafireen' or non-Muslims or disbelievers. Allah invites the Muslims, even challenges them, to ponder over His creation and then evaluate where they stand. Now the question is:

Do we ponder over His miraculous Creation? Do we ever think about heavens and the earth and whatever is in-between? And if that is not enough, he asks again:

Do they not see the birds above them,

spreading out their wings and folding

them in? None upholds them except

the Most Beneficent (Rahman). Verily,

He is the All-seer of everything.”

(Quran 67-19)

The Almighty wants to convince us with reason and logic because He has created us as intelligent beings. There are hundreds of verses in the Holy Quran on this subject if we only bother to study the Book of Allah. The Most Merciful blesses us guidance and knowledge; and He imparts that guidance and education with compassion and mercy. He is the One Who helps and supports His faithful slaves in times of trial. That should be the motivation enough for us to reflect. He asks:

Who is he besides the Most

Beneficent (Rahman) that can be

an army to you to help you? The

disbelievers are in nothing

but delusion.”

(al-Quran 67:20)

Despite all those signs, revelations and proofs, if someone is still in doubt and does not believe in Him, then he is in error:

Say: ‘He is the Most Beneficent

(Rahman), in Him we believe, and

in Him we put our trust. So you

will come to know who is it that

is in manifest error.”

(al-Quran 67:29)

For such a person, who gives a deaf ear or a blind eye to the Signs of the Almighty, there is no guidance. When man turns away from Allah, Allah also turns away from him too. Therefore, he continues living in delusion or sin. The door of guidance is closed on him and he becomes one of the friends of the Devil. And the Devil is destined to Hellfire.

And whosoever turns away (blinds

himself) from the remembrance of

the Most Beneficent (Rahman), We

appoint for him Satan (devil) to be

an intimate companion to him.”

(al-Quran 43:36)

When Allah sent Adam and Eve from Heaven down to the Earth, He told them that they will be there for a fixed term. They were also told what to do and what not to do during that tenure. Adam was the biggest and the tallest man on earth, and he lived longer than any other human being – 960 years. The couple went through lots of hardship and trials but Allah’s forgiveness and mercy was with them, therefore, they left their offspring to spread in the Earth. Among the children of Adam, there were hundreds or even thousands who were chosen by Allah to be His messengers and Prophets. According to one narration, they were 124,000 in number, of whom Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) was the last and final. Therefore, try to apply his teachings on your life, that could be your last chance too!

ALLAH DECLARES: "My Mercy Embraces All Things."

Allah Declares:

"My Mercy Embraces

All Things!”

It's Ordained For

Faithful Believers

(M. Javed Naseem)

A believer is a true believer only when he/she remains faithful and sincere to his/her Creator and Sustainer, Allah the Almighty. He/she starts everything and begins every task in the name of Allah – Allah, Who is Rahman (Gracious, Beneficent) and Raheem (Merciful).

Allah is Infinite Mercy. His kindness and mercy encompasses everything. It’s boundless. He created us and He loves us more than anybody. He put us (Adam) on a high pedestal and commanded angels to bow down in prostration in front of Adam – the first man. He prescribed laws and rules for us to guide us on how to live on this earth with peace and prosperity. He does not want us to go to Hell as He proudly created Paradise for us faithful believers. His mercy knows no bounds. He says in the Holy Quran:

When those who believe in Our signs

come to you, say: "Peace be on you!

Your Lord has inscribed for Himself

(the rule of) mercy. Verily, if any of you

did evil in ignorance, and thereafter

repented, and amend (his conduct), lo!

He is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.”

(al-Quran 6:54)

Another translation says: ‘...Your Lord has prescribed for Himself mercy’. There is also a traditional saying attributed to the Prophet (s.a.w.) that says, “If you are not merciful to others, you will not be treated with mercy on the Day of Judgment. It's godly virtue.

There are no limits to Allah's Mercy. It covers the universe, the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them. But it is preferably bestowed upon those who are pious; who give Zakat; who believe in His verses, revelation, signs, lessons and evidences. But those who defy Him; and don’t believe in Him and His revelations, they face His anger.

He said: I smite with My punishment

whom I will, and My mercy embraces

all things. Therefore, I shall ordain it for

those who ward off (evil) and pay the

poor-due, and those who believe

Our revelations.”

(al-Quran 7:156)

There are disbelievers, unfaithful and disobedient in the world but Allah is still merciful to them and provides them with food to eat, water to drink, air to breathe and an environment that sustains. Imagine that certain people don’t even believe in Him the way they should; they don’t even thank Him but He still gives them provision and grants them life. That is Rahman and Raheem, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. His mercy is much greater than His anger.

The Almighty Rahman reminds all human beings that He is the sole Creator, the One Who has the right to be worshiped, the One Who bestows mercy, the One Who guides us to the right path to Paradise. Without His mercy and forgiveness, nobody would enter the Garden of Paradise. One-third of the population of this planet (over two billion people) don’t believe in One God. But God is there for them too. Despite all our sins and wrong-doing, He takes care of us, gives us the food and good health. But we humans are always ungrateful. He asks:

“Or who is there that can provide you

with sustenance if He were to withhold

His provision? Nay, they obstinately

persist in insolent impiety and aversion.”

(al-Quran 67:21)

And to all of us who are unmindful and ungrateful to Allah, the Most Merciful asks again:

Say: Have you thought, if (all) your water

were to disappear into the earth, who then

could bring you clean flowing-water?”

(al-Quran 67:30)

Nobody, of course. He is the Lord of the lords, the King of the kings and the Owner of the heavens and the earth. He is the Sole Provider, the Sustainer. His mercy embraces all things. His mercy overcomes His anger. When Rahman practices or bestows His mercy on mankind, He becomes Raheem. In other words Rahman in action is Raheem. His mercy is so vast that He has prohibited believers to despair. As long as there is hope, His mercy will be there. No matter how big, serious or great the sin, Allah’s mercy is greater than that and covers it. The only thing needed is the sincere repentance.

On the Day of Judgment, everybody would be sweating with fear, anxiety and sweltering heat. But the Merciful will shelter those who were His faithful servants in this world. He will show His extreme mercy to the sinful and will forgive them. His pardon and mercy will win Paradise for many who would otherwise be fuel of the Hellfire. Our so-called 'good deeds' may not be good enough to get us into the Garden but His mercy will. He will save many from the punishment of Hell. He will be the Most Merciful Judge to the sinning believers.

As believers we should appreciate His blessings and bounties; and we should always be grateful to Him. It is due. The Most Merciful promises us that He will give us more if we remain thankful to Him for all His favors to us.

He may bring you out from darkness

(of disbelief and polytheism) into light

(of belief and Islamic monotheism). And

He is ever Most Merciful to the believers.”

(Quran 33:43)

A DIALOGUE WITH THE DEVIL: The Turning Point In The History of Man And Satan.

A Dialogue With The Devil

The Turning Point

In The History Of

Man And Satan

(M. Javed Naseem)

Allah the Almighty is the Supreme Creator and we are His humble creation. Allah likes us when we are humble but most of us are boastful and proud. We show our pride – rather arrogance – in material gains, possessions and worldly status. Because of that pride, we often ignore and disobey our Creator – the Most Merciful Allah. But Allah is so full of grace and mercy that He continues showering His mercy, blessings and bounties upon us all the time.

Arrogance (‘Takabbar’) is very hateful in the eyes of Allah, the Almighty. Arrogance cost Iblees (Shaitan or the Devil) his high status when he used to hang out with angels in Paradise. He was degraded and cursed by Allah for his disobedience (based on arrogance). Thus Satan (Shaitan) became the biggest adversary of man. Allah promised him and his followers Hell as their final destination.

Here is a brief dialogue between Allah, the Creator, and Iblees (Shaitan or the Devil) as recorded in the Holy Quran, Surah al-A’raaf, Verses 12-18; and Surah al-Nissa, verses 117-120. That was the turning point in the history of mankind as Devil, who was the most pious and a great servant of Allah the Almighty among the Jinn, became an open enemy to Adam and his offspring (all human beings) because of his disobedience based on arrogance or superiority complex. His argument was that he was superior because he was a Jinn who was created from fire, while Adam was a human who was created from mud (clay or earth). That was why he could not fall into prostration to Adam.

(Allah) said: ‘What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?’ He said: ‘I am better than he: You have created me from fire, and him from clay.’

(Allah) said: ‘Get you down from here: it is not for you to be arrogant here: get out, for you are of the meanest (of creatures).’

He said: ‘Give me respite till the day they are raised up.’

(Allah) said: ‘Be you among those who have respite.’

He said: ‘Because you have thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on your straight path. Then will I assault them from before them and behind them, from their right and their left. Nor will you find, in most of them, gratitude (for your mercies).’

(Allah) said: ‘Get out from here, disgraced and expelled! If any of them (humans) follows you, Hell will I fill with you all.” – (al-Quran 7:12-18).

Since that, the Devil has become a clear enemy of man. He attacks us from all sides, on all matters and in every field, especially the affairs of Deen (Islam). He is trying to send as many of us astray as possible, to prove his point. On the other hand, Allah the Most Merciful, keeps warning us about it and when we seek Allah's help and protection from the Devil, Allah bestows it upon us too and saves us from falling in the pit of fire.

Allah tells us in the Quran that despite all His warnings and signs, man continues to fall into the trap of the Devil.

“They invoke in His stead only female deities;

they pray to none else than Satan, a rebel.
Allah did curse him, but he said: "I will take

of Your servants a portion Marked off;
"I will mislead them, and I will create in them

false desires; I will order them to slit the ears

of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created

by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes

Satan for a friend, has of a surety suffered

a loss that is manifest. Satan makes them

promises, and creates in them false desires;

but Satan's promises are nothing but deception.”

(al-Quran 4:117-120)

Allah, the Most Merciful, has set the limits or boundaries for us in all fields of life to make things easier and clear for us, so that we don't go astray. Going astray means chasing the Hellfire as our final destination. If we follow the revelations sent to us via the Quran, we cannot go astray. If we are mindful of Allah, we'll be blessed with guidance. That guidance is our best defence. It's the best protection we can get to stay out of the harm's way. The Devil and his disciples cannot misguide us while we are guided by the Quran and Allah's commands. Only Allah, the Most Merciful and Gracious, is our real protecting guardian.

Give this warning to those in whose (hearts)

is the fear that they will be brought (to judgment)

before their Lord; except for Him they will have

no protector nor intercessor;

so that they may guard (against evil).”

(al-Quran 6:51)

DEEN OF ISLAM: Most People May Mislead You As They Follow Opinions.

Deen of Islam

Watch Out!

Most People May Mislead You

As They Follow ‘Opinions

It's Your Duty To Seek The Truth

From The Main Source – The Quran!

(M. Javed Naseem)

These are verses of the Wise Book

(al-Quran), a Guide and a Mercy

to the doers of good.”

(al-Quran 31:2-3).

The Holy Quran is the divine source of knowledge, learning, information and guidance. All knowledge comes from Allah, the Almighty, and the Quran is His word. He guides whom He wills and bestows knowledge and guidance upon he who seeks guidance and strives for it.

Therefore, we should always seek and follow the true guidance of Allah, the Almighty, the best source of which is the Quran and the best model or example of which is our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.). The knowledge of the Quran will protect us from all those who are out there to spread fabricated traditions and the sayings of the Prophet – Ahadith. The enemies of Islam have hired Muslims and non-Muslims to create 'Fitnah', dissent and confusion among the believers. They have created sects in Islam while Allah commands us not to create sects or divide Muslims in different groups following and promoting some particular ideology, hatred, division, sectarianism and misconceptions.

The knowledge of the Quran will eliminate the intermediary Mullah (the so-called ‘scholar’ or ‘sheikh’) and nobody would be able to fool you or misguide you in the name of ‘Deen’ or Islam. But our lack of knowledge of the Quran will leave the door open for all ‘doctors’ and preachers to present to us their own brand of Islam. Those brands never existed during the time of the Prophet (s.a.w.) and the Caliphs Abu Bakr and Umar bin al-Khattab.

So, in the name of Allah, please educate yourself and get the first-hand knowledge from the main source! Read the Quran with its translation in your own language! Study it again and again with attention and you'll see how guidance comes to you. Allah helps those who help theselves.

The Truth (comes) from Allah alone;

so be not of those who doubt!”

(al-Quran 3:60)

Read the Arabic text with translation in your language, again and again and again. You will be amazed how clear the things get for you. That’s the Guidance! You can discuss the verses of the Quran with as many people as you like but always use your own head; and check things out on logic and reason. Listen to your heart and you can’t go wrong! Allah the Almighty warns us in the Quran:

If you obey most of those on earth,

they would mislead you far from Allah's way.

They follow naught but an opinion, and

they do but guess.  Lo! Your Lord,

He knows best who errs from His way; and

He knows best (who are) the rightly guided.”

(al-Quran 6:116-117).

“One day We shall raise from all peoples a witness

against them, from amongst themselves; and

We shall bring you as a witness against

these (your people - Muslims); and We have

sent down to you the Book explaining all

things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings

to Muslims.”

(al-Quran 16:89).

In the Bible, Prophet Jesus (Isa) called all those corrupt preachers and hypocrites ‘doctors’. Yes, they are doctors of religion. They perform surgery on the Scriptures. They bring changes and innovations to the religion. They also monopolise the religion to make money. They don’t want general people to get true knowledge of religion as it hurts their business. But Allah warns them:

“Nor sell the covenant of Allah for a miserable

price, for with Allah is (a prize) far better

for you, if you only knew.”

(al-Qurtan 16:95)

Allah is Infinite Truth and all truth comes from Him. As a matter of fact, anything and everything that comes from Allah, comes in Truth. A believer cannot deny it. The Truth guides you to the right path which leads to Paradise.

Verily this Quran does guide to that which is most

right (or stable), and gives the glad tidings to the believers

who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a

magnificent reward.”

(al-Quran 17:9)

We are free to choose our own path – right or wrong, and we’ll be rewarded or compensated accordingly. Our choices and decisions lay the foundations of the final abode. Our place in Heaven or Hell depends on our choices in this world. Allah, the Most Merciful, has made everything clear in the Quran to guide us. Those revelations have guided millions of Muslims who have passed before us and those are still guiding us and others who are seeking guidance. You cannot deny those revelations. Allah has issued a strong warning to those who deny His revelations.

“Say, ‘The truth is from your Lord’.

Let him who will believe, and let him who will,

reject (it); for the wrong-doers We have prepared

a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the walls

and roof of a tent, will hem them in. If they implore

relief they will be granted water like melted brass,

that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink!

How uncomfortable a couch to recline on!” –

(al-Quran 18:29).
