The Healing Miracle Of
The Word Of God: Al-Quran
(Part-2/2)
Treating Cancer
With Surah Maryam And
Surah ar-Rahman
(M. Javed Naseem)
(The healing verses) |
The main purpose of the Quran is to spread light of
knowledge and provide guidance to the mankind so that people follow the path of
righteousness and get closer to God. The benefits of physical healing and
expansion of provision (Rizq), etc., are side-benefits or bonuses.
I would like to add here one important point that this
subject (or field of study) lacks research and study. There is no authentic
research paper on this very important subject of healing physical and spiritual
ailments by the Quranic Verses. Very few people have done a serious study or
research on that. Most articles on the net and videos on Youtube are based on
personal experiences and observations of a couple of Pakistani or Arab doctors.
As an ‘alternative’ treatment, the subject needs to be covered thoroughly. An
organized study by a group of doctors in some hospitals or clinics should be
arranged to explore this vital healing process; and the findings published in
top medical journals of the world. Without any formal research, these claims
might be treated like religious propaganda. Therefore, health ministries in Muslim
countries should take the initiative. They should not wait for the West to do
the research (as usual) and authenticate the knowledge presented by the Quran.
If you, as a Muslim, claim that the Quran benefits mankind, then you are
responsible to prove it too.
In the first article, I discussed the miraculous benefits of
Surah ar-Rahman (Chapter 55 of the Quran) as a treatment to cancer. This second
article of the 2-part series, covers the miracle of Surah Maryam (Chapter 19 of
the Quran). Since the Quran is the authentic Word of God, it is full of
blessings for mankind – Guidance, Knowledge and Healing are the three
outstanding features. I have also barely touched other Surahs of the Quran and
their attributes. Allah knows best.
Surah Maryam:
This blessed Surah of the Quran is also known for its
miraculous qualities of treating cancer and other ailments. It has a lot of
attributes. You can recite it to protect your house from evil; you can recite
it for increase in provision (Rizq); and you can recite it for any physical and
spiritual disease that is making your life miserable.
The recitation of Surah Maryam is also recommended in
handling complicated social problems, like marriages and divorces, etc. In any
case, the Word of God helps solve your problems. It all depends on your
intention and supplication to God.
People who have experienced or observed the benefits of
reciting Surah Maryam, have recommended two ways of completing the process. One
group says that the process should be spread over 41 days, while the other
group says just 40 days. I personally don’t see any conflict here. You are
reciting Allah’s Word, so there’s no harm in reciting more for more rewards.
The main difference between the two groups is the number of
recitations, not the days. You can perform it the way that is convenient to
you. I describe here below both versions so that you can pick the one you like.
Version 1:
(11-times Darood + 1-time Maryam + 11-times Darood)
You have to recite the Salaat-wa-Salaam (Darood Ibrahimi) before
and after Surah Maryam. You select one prayer-time (Fajr, Zuhr/Dhuhr, Asr,
Maghrib or Isha) and your recitation process should always be the same, after
the same prayer, same time, for 40 days. Here’s what you do:
Put a bottle of drinking water (1-liter or 2-liter) or a jug
or a jar of water near you. After finishing your prayer (Salaat), you start
reciting Darood Ibrahimi (Allahuma salli ala Muhammadin … ) and recite it for
11 times. Then you recite Surah Maryam once. Then you recite Darood Ibrahimi
again 11 times. After that you supplicate (make Dua) to Almighty Allah for
whatever purpose you are doing this. Blow it on the bottle of water and keep
drinking that water throughout the day. Next day you repeat the same process;
and the day after; and the day after, till you complete 40 days.
It’s 40-days non-stop, without interruption. Try not to
drink any other liquid except this water. But if you cannot live without coffee
or tea, then leave a big gap (at least one hour) between the two drinks.
Remember one thing! The healing comes from Allah the Most
Merciful, and it comes only if you are honest, sincere, just/fair and regular
in your effort. You have to be a believer of One God worthy of worship. You
also need to stay away from negative thoughts (anger, grudge, revenge,
jealousy, ego, hate, racism, back-biting, etc.). Forgive everybody and revert
to Allah with a clean heart, with no baggage! You’ll start seeing the results
within a week. Insha-Allah.
Darood Ibrahimi
Version 2:
First day: (11-times Darood + 40-times Maryam +
11-times Darood).
Next 39 days: (11-times Darood + 1-time Maryam +
11-times Darood).
This version is similar to the first one but you need to
recite a lot more of Surah Maryam. Here’s what you do:
Put a jug (without cover) or a jar (without cover) or a bottle
of drinking water (1-liter or 2-liter) near you and remove the lid. After you
finish your prayer (Salaat), you start reciting Salaat-wa-Salaam (Darood
Ibrahimi) and complete it 11 times. Then you start reciting Surah Maryam. When
you finish Surah Maryam, restart it till you finish it again. Repeat this
action 40 times. You need to recite Surah Maryam 40 times. It will take long
time and you’ll get tired too. Then you recite Darood Ibrahimi 11-times to
complete the process. Then supplicate to Allah (make Dua) for whatever purpose
you are doing this. Blow it on the bottle of water and keep drinking from that
water for 40 days. That was the first day of the course.
The next day, you repeat the same process but recite Surah
Maryam only once. Everyday you add more water to the bottle/jug/jar. You might
drink less water in winter (because you don’t feel thirsty) but drink more
water in summer. It does not matter. Try to drink at least 4-5 glasses of water
everyday. If you consume less water, you can use one-liter bottle. As far as
water is concerned, you can use clean drinking water from the tap or buy a
5-liter branded bottle from the supermarket and use one liter every day. Try to
drink as much as you can.
Surah Maryam will take you about 8 minutes to recite once.
So, on the first day: 40x8 = 320minutes (or 5-1/2 hours). If you cannot recite
40-times in one sitting, you can do it in two sittings on the same day –
morning and evening or whenever but on the same day.
I think Version-1 would be more convenient and easier for
most people. Insha-Allah.
Now, a word about other Surahs (chapters) of the Quran:
Allah’s word (the Quran) is full of blessings. You can benefit from other
Surahs (chapters) too but you have to believe that God’s word is going to heal
you. Unfortunately, not much scientific research has been done in this field.
The subject needs some serious study by some hospital, clinic or a group of
doctors. Mankind can benefit from it immensely.

Testimonials:
Once again, I give here below important links to videos from
Youtube in which the physicians and medical doctors talked about their
experiences about healing physical and spiritual ailments with the verses or
chapters (Surahs) of the Quran.
Out of many videos available on the net, I have selected
three videos containing interviews of the doctors and physicians who are
practicing Surah ar-Rahman in their hospitals or clinics, to heal the cancer
patients. Their testimonials are authentic but I don’t know why they didn’t
publish their findings or observations in international medical journals. They
and their patients are living proof of these claims.
Dr. Muhammad Javed Bashir’s PTV interview :
Dr. Mumtaz Niazi, Sargodha (Bin Qasim Hospital)
Allah (SWT) has said that Surah ar-Rehman is Noor-e-Mubeen.
Noor means light and Light means rays. We use X-rays, laser rays, sound waves,
etc., for medical treatment, then why not rays of the Quran?
(Note:- This is just for your information and learning
experience. I don’t like ‘Peeri-Mureedi’ as this business has nothing to do
with true Islam – connection between God and Man.)
Dr. Ms. Zainab (Central Pak Medical College, ex-Doctors
Hospital).
Her own personal journey on the road to healing with Surah
ar-Rahman.
May Allah bless you all with good health, peace, happiness
and contentment!
