HAJJ DEMANDS DISCIPLINE & ORDER

Tragedy After Tragedy
There’s Always A Human Fault!
Hajj Demands Discipline/Order
And We Lack Both

(M. Javed Naseem)

وَجَاهِدُوا فِى ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ هُوَ ٱجْتَبَاكُمْ
وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيْكمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ
“And strive in His cause as you ought to
strive, (with sincerity and under discipline).
He has chosen you, and has imposed no
difficulties on you in religion …”
(al-Quran 22:78)

I normally post a new article every Friday. Yesterday, (Thursday) when I was reviewing my new ‘post’, I was again shocked at the TV news that more than 700 pilgrims died and about a thousand injured as a result of a stampede at Mina (Makkah) during Hajj rituals. My first reaction came out of anger and I said to myself: When are we going to learn discipline? Why do we behave like cattle/sheep when it comes to mass-eating (at weddings, fests, etc.) or mass-performing of religious (or other) rites?

So, I am withholding my post until next Friday, Insha-Allah. What drove me mad, was a live broadcast of an act of “ass-kissing” from Mina. Saudi King was sitting along with his cronies and a uniformed officer (Chief of Security Operations) was offering his ‘Qaseedah’ (praise in poetry form). This was happening in the backdrop of hundreds dead and a thousand injured at Mina? I felt like shooting both of them.
So much for the criticism and anger.

Now, on the lighter side, a joke: The pilgrims at Mina (near Makkah) were pelting stones at a wall symbolized as ‘Devil’. As per one report, the stampede occurred at a crossroad where two big groups of pilgrims, coming from opposite directions, met and started pushing each other. When you pelt stones (pebbles) at the Devil (Shaitan), he does not like it. It seemed as if Shaitan was present there and he reacted angrily by killing people. A sad joke!

What is sadder than this? Our own behavior, attitude and lack of discipline! Salaat (prayer) in congregation and all mass-performance of religious rituals are meant to train us for law and order, discipline, organization and peaceful performance. Mina has a history and this is not the first time that this has happened – and it won’t be the last time either. It’s not easy to handle more than two million people at one place! It happens in the West (in football stadiums) off and on even with less than 70,000 spectators. Here’s a brief account of Mina’s history of accidents:

Below is a timeline compiled by Agence France Presse (AFP) of significant incidents during the annual event, which draws around two million Muslim faithful from around the world.

• 2015
September 24:
A stampede during the “stoning of the Devil” ritual in Mina leaves at least 717 pilgrims dead and over 860 injured.
September 11: 109 people are killed and hundreds injured, including many foreigners, when a crane collapses on Makkah’s Grand Mosque after strong winds and heavy rain.

• 2006
January 6:
76 people die when a hotel collapses in the city center.
January 12: 364 pilgrims are killed in a stampede during the stoning ritual in Mina. The ritual involves Hajj participants throwing pebbles at three headstones, symbolizing their rejection of Satan.

• 2005
January 22:
Three pilgrims are crushed to death in a stampede at the stoning ceremony in Mina.

• 2004
February 1:
251 people are killed in a stampede at Mina, also at the stoning of the Devil.

• 2003
February 11:
14 faithful, including six women, die on the first day of the stoning ritual.

• 2001
March 5:
35 pilgrims, including 23 women, die at the ritual in Mina.

• 1998
April 9:
More than 118 people are killed and 180 injured in a stampede at Mina.

A fire caused by a gas stove rips through a camp housing pilgrims at Mina, killing 343 and injuring around 1,500.

• 1995
May 7:
Three people die and 99 are injured when a fire breaks out at the Mina camp.

• 1994
May 24:
270 people are killed in a stampede during the stoning, an incident authorities attribute to “record numbers” of pilgrims at the site.

• 1990
July 2:
A huge stampede in a tunnel at Mina after a failure in its ventilation system kills 1,426 pilgrims, mainly from Asia.

• 1989
July 10:
A twin attack on the outside of the Grand Mosque kills one and wounds 16. Sixteen Kuwaiti Shiites are found guilty of the crime and executed weeks later.

• 1987
July 31:
Saudi security forces suppress an unauthorized protest held by Iranian pilgrims. More than 400 people, including 275 Iranians are killed, according to an official toll.

• 1979
November 20:
Hundreds of gunmen opposed to the Saudi government barricade themselves inside the Grand Mosque, taking dozens of pilgrims hostage. The official toll of the assault and subsequent fighting is 153 people dead and 560 wounded.

• 1975
December:
A huge fire started by a gas cannister exploding in a pilgrim camp close to Makkah kills 200 people.

We behave like animals when it comes down to kissing of ‘black-stone’ (Hajr-e-Aswad). People fight, pull and push others to do it first. I have seen it with my own eyes and could not believe it when some people’s ‘Ahraam’ were torn apart and they still did not succeed in kissing the stone. Most pilgrims can’t achieve that, especially the women and the weaker men, and it’s because of disorder, inconsiderate behavior and lack of discipline.

Despite all that, the fact is that no Arab (or Muslim) country can make any better Hajj arrangements than Saudi Arabia, and it should be appreciated. They spend endless money and consult American and European experts at every point. They have enlarged (expanded) the ‘stoning’ areas, making it safer than before by constructing one-way streets to and from stoning points. It’s the people who violate the rules and ignore all warnings and behave like animals. One example: You can see the garbage (trash) all along the route, in Mina, Arafat and Makkah although everybody is carrying plastic bags and the organizers have posted trash cans at thousands of places. We can’t keep a place clean even during a religious ritual? And we claim that cleanliness is equal to half of our Faith (Imaan). Why blame others?

Accidents do happen and we should learn from them. We need to be more organized and a little more disciplined – most of the pilgrims are; only a small minority creates disruption and chaos for others resulting in deaths and damage. And it can be avoided.

We should demonstrate patience (Sabr)! Our impatient behavior is the cause of such accidents. We want to achieve something before others and we rush. We want to finish our task before others and in this effort we create disruption and chaos which results in stampedes killing people. We need to be more patient, cool and organized and that’s the message from the Quran as well. Be patient in every situation and don’t rush!

“O you who believe! Seek (Allah’s) help
with patient perseverance and prayer; for
Allah is with those who patiently persevere.”
(al-Quran 2:153)

WW-III: Who Started It And Who Would Be Blamed?

And WW-III Continues
We Know Who Started It,
But Who Would Be Blamed?

The War Games!

(M. Javed Naseem)

“When it is said to them: "Make not mischief
on the earth", they say: "Why, we only want
to make peace! Of a surety, they are the ones
who make mischief, but they realize (it) not.”
(al-Quran 2:11-12)

****************************************
Under Obama, the U.S. military developed
the most expensive and most dangerous
nuclear bomb ever: The B61-12. The B61-12
is a guided nuclear missile, the first of its kind,
and its yield can be dialed down electronically
for the desired effect.
****************************************

The 9/11 saga has played its part effectively, therefore, they don’t discuss it any more. It has achieved more results than what was targeted. Today, ISIL or ISIS is the hot topic. It’s funny that most people in the world know that it was created by those who claim to be fighting it today! It gives them still an excuse to bomb Iraq and Syria again and again till the desired results are achieved. They are running out of time as they are already behind schedule. Syria has taken too much time.

The WW-III is going on and every year a new country or a nation is dragged into it. The evil is spreading its wings. The hawks in Anglo-American politics are constantly intimidating Russia. They tried it in Georgia, in Ukraine and now in Syria – and one day they’ll succeed. They got encouraging results from Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan and Libya. But there’s a possibility that Syria might prove different.

*****************************************
The United States and Russia alone possess
a total of over 15,000 nuclear warheads (as
of 2014), each of which are 10 to 30 times
more powerful than those that the U.S. used
against Japan in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A nuclear war between just these two countries,
utilizing only the weapons which are slated to be
active after the implementation of the START
treaty in 2018, would release over 150 million
tons of debris into the atmosphere. This debris
would block out the sun, dropping global
temperatures between 8 and 30 degrees
centigrade. Agriculture would become
impossible. Mass extinctions would follow,
and our species would not likely be exempt.
*****************************************

And there is also the possibility of Israel making a mistake of attacking Iran as it is running out of patience. They want to do it before Iran acquires nuclear capability. They are holding back under American pressure.

From SCG:
(StormCloudGathering.com)

World War is upon us. It has been unfolding in slow motion for years. The only question now is who will get blamed.
Humans tend to view each stage of history in isolation. As a result they rarely see the chain reactions that build over decades, until a flash point catches their attention.
September 11th, 2001 was one such flash point. You could make the case that this was where it all began. There's some truth in that, but it's also an oversimplification.

************************************
“If you want to start a war, the unwashed
masses must be convinced (brainwashed) to
send their brothers, sons and fathers to die
on the front lines. The specter of an external
enemy must be etched into their collective
mind through trauma, exaggeration and
repetition. History must be whitewashed,
twisted and cherry picked down to a
politicized nursery rhyme. At no point
should the real motives or the consequences
of such an endeavor be discussed.”

Hillary Clinton: We created Al-Qaeda …
The video link:

Of course the dancing with the stars version of the story: The U.S. backed the Mujahedin in response to the Soviet invasion of December of 1979.
You might want to run that version by Robert Gates, director of the CIA under Ronald Reagan and George Bush Senior, and Secretary of Defense under both George W. Bush and Barack Obama, because in his memoir entitled "From the Shadows", he revealed that the U.S. actually began the covert operation 6 months prior, with the express intent of drawing in the Soviets.

“The Carter administration began looking at the possibility of covert assistance to the insurgents opposing the pro-Soviet, Marxist government (in Afghanistan) of President Taraki at the beginning of 1979. On March 5, 1979, CIA sent several covert action options relating to Afghanistan to the SCC. The covering memo noted that the insurgents had stepped up their activities against the government and had achieved surprising successes. It added that the Soviets were clearly concerned about the setbacks to the Afghan communist regime and that the Soviet media were accusing the United States, Pakistan, and Egypt of supporting the insurgents. The SCC met the next day and requested new options for covert action.”

“The day before the SCC meeting on April 6 to consider Afghan covert action options, Soviet MO Arnold Horelick sent Turner a paper on the possible Soviet reactions … The risk was that a substantial U.S. covert aid program could raise the stakes and induce the Soviets to intervene more directly and vigorously than otherwise intended.”

“The meeting was finally held on July 3, 1979, and — almost 6 months before the Soviets invaded Afghanistan — Jimmy Carter signed the first finding to help the Mujahedin covertly. It authorized support for insurgent propaganda and other psychological operations in Afghanistan; establishment of radio access to the Afghan population through third-country facilities; and the provision either unilaterally or through third countries of support to the Afghan insurgents, in the form of either cash or nonmilitary supplies. The Afghan effort began relatively small. Initially, somewhat more than half a million dollars was allocated, with almost all being drawn within six weeks.”

“On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, 1979, the Soviets massively intervened in Afghanistan. A covert action that began six months earlier funded at just over half a million dollars would, within a year, grow to tens of millions, and most assuredly included the provision of weapons.”
(‘From The Shadows’ (1996) by Robert Gates pp. 144-149)

Truth About 9/11:

And they still haven’t learned their lesson.

Speaking of Al-Qaeda, if you do a Google search for "Jet fuel maximum burning temperature" you'll find an article from ‘popularmechanics.com’ informing you that under ideal conditions jet fuel tops out at 1500 degrees Fahrenheit, and that steel melts at 2750 degrees. They go on to explain how it isn't a problem because "for the (WTC) towers to collapse, their steel frames didn't need to melt".
Trouble is, the steel DID melt.

Of course little details like the laws of physics never got in the way of a good story.
Oh by the way, did you ever find anyone who could credibly explain how a third building, World Trade Center building 7, fell straight down at 5:21 pm that day though it was not hit by any plane?

See the video:

And did they ever explain how the BBC reported this event 26 minutes before it actually happened?
Oh I know what you're thinking: maybe it was a green screen and shoddy editing, and that we can't confirm the actual time from that clip. Or can we? Turns out, there was a second clip that did show the time: 21:54. That's 9:54pm in England and 4:54pm Eastern – 26 minutes BEFORE the building actually fell.

The invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan were not motivated by the fall of the twin towers. Nor was the invasion of your rights and privacy that followed. To say 9/11 was a pretext would be putting it lightly.

See the video:

The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry, but George W. Bush sure did try. Iraq and Afghanistan became quagmires, just like Cheney predicted.

Obama picked up where he left off by toppling Libya and funding extremist in Syria (the precursors of ISIS). They knew the weapons were ending up in the hands of Jihadists since at least 2012. They knew what would come next.
A Department of Defense document from 2012 (acquired through an FOIA request) shows that the U.S. government was aware that these fighters intended to form a caliphate, and that this conflict would likely lead to a proxy war with Russia and China.
The Middle East was being Balkanized. Every pocket of resistance broken up into bite-sized chunks, but it was taking too long, so Saudi Arabia invaded Yemen, and Israel did their part by repeatedly bombing the Syrian army (the most recent attack was in July). Oh, and Turkey helped too! It's been a team effort.

In 2013, when the U.S. backed rebels in Syria got caught using Sarin gas against civilians and the western narrative fell apart, Russia became a diplomatic thorn in Washington’s sight. So like a true gambler doesn't know when to walk away, Obama doubled down by backing the coup in Ukraine, installing a puppet government with extensive ties to the U.S. State Department, bankrolling their ethnic cleansing campaign in the East and blaming the entire mess on Vladimir Putin: “Russian aggression, Russian aggression, Russian aggression…”
Because reducing Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria to rubble is about spreading democracy, but accepting the results of a peaceful referendum in Crimea … well that's just beyond the pale.
The war on the Ukrainian front continued through 2014 and into 2015. Somewhere along the way, the preparations for an open conflict between the U.S., Russia and China were normalized and brought from the shadows. Open threats were leveled in full view. Coverage was predictably one-sided.
We've been through this before – weapons of mass destruction, human rights, Russian aggression ... new excuses, same goal.
It stands to reason that if we want to STOP a war we must reverse this pattern.
Let's start with a realistic look at the consequences.
The United States and Russia alone possess a total of over 15,000 nuclear warheads (as of 2014), each of which are 10 to 30 times more powerful than those that the U.S. used against Japan in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
During the Soviet era it was understood that a hot war between these two countries would inevitably lead to the use of these weapons, and would therefore be an act of mass suicide. This idea was so deeply engrained, that it had its own acronym: M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction). In recent years scientists have realized that this should be taken as a literal truth, regardless of which side may suffer the most in the initial exchange.
A nuclear war between just these two countries, utilizing only the weapons which are slated to be active after the implementation of the START treaty in 2018, would release over 150 million tons of debris into the atmosphere. This debris would block out the sun, dropping global temperatures between 8 and 30 degrees centigrade. Agriculture would become impossible. Mass extinctions would follow, and our species would not likely be exempt.
This is a mild description. We're not even touching upon the direct consequences of the blasts, firestorms, and radiation poisoning or the secondary deaths caused by exposure, and disease.
In this context you might be inclined to believe that the use of these weapons would be completely off of the table. That every effort would be made to reduce stockpiles and that no new bombs would be built. Unfortunately this is not the case.
In recent years U.S. strategists have begun to promote the idea of ‘limited nuclear warfare’ with a focus on tactical nukes. The idea being that smaller weapons are more effective because they are actually usable.
This isn't just talk. Under Obama, the U.S. military developed the most expensive and most dangerous nuclear bomb ever: The B61-12. The B61-12 is a guided nuclear missile, the first of its kind, and its yield can be dialed down electronically for the desired effect.
This capability has been promoted by the CFR as a means of preemptively destroying China's hardened missile silos.
Apparently, the Obama administration took these recommendations to heart, because Section 1063 of the NDAA of 2013, directed the U.S. Strategic Command to prepare a report assessing the capability of the U.S. military to destroy a network of tunnels in China and "the known hardened and deeply buried sites of foreign nations" with "conventional and or nuclear forces". While Russia wasn't mentioned directly here, it should be clear that they are on that list.
Those promoting this new stance claim that this is merely a new form of deterrence, but this line of argumentation (even if it were sincere), is fatally flawed.
A preemptive nuclear strategy, especially when discussed in public, sends a clear message to those who are being threatened that they themselves must strike first. And Russia and China do not possess dial-a-yield tactical nukes, so their preemptive strikes would be full scale.
Of course America's political establishment has a good reason to play chicken with all of our lives, and the future of this planet. The balance of geopolitical and financial power has been shifting, and not in Washington's favor.
China's new Silk Road project, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and outposts in the South China Sea, in tandem with the Eurasian Union spearheaded by Russia, are edging the United States out of the world's new center of gravity.
Pivots have failed, bilateral discussions have gotten nowhere, sanctions have backfired, trade agreements have stalled, influence has eroded ... Washington is running out of options, and time.
The dollar denominated financial system has peaked. This is the end of a debt super cycle, and of the petro-dollar. The next leg down is going to be epic.
The powers that be would rather tip the board than lose the game. They'd rather take us to war than to take the blame. And if you let them get away with it, that's just the beginning.

A WAKE-UP CALL: From Bad To Worse

A Wake-up Call
Sept. 2010 To Sept. 2015
From Bad To Worse!

(M. Javed Naseem)

It was September 2010 when I traveled to Lahore (Pakistan) to get my first book (A Wake-up Call) published. Things were getting awful and I felt like screaming in the streets to wake people up. There were wild fires in Australia, America and some other parts of the world. Some country was shocked and rocked by an earthquake. China, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan were hit by Monsoon rains and were flooded. Thousands of people perished. I put the two pictures (wild fires and Pakistan floods) on the title of my book.
 Here is the dedication page:

DEDICATION:

To those who suffer for being honest,
righteous and strive for the cause of Allah.

وَمِمَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ أُمَّةٌ يَهْدُونَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَبِهِ يَعْدِلُونَ
“And of those whom We created, there is
a nation who guide with the Truth and
establish justice therewith.”
(al-Quran 7:181)

When we are hit by a calamity or a disaster, we immediately pray to Allah for relief. As they say in America: Oh, give me a break! We beg Allah to give us a break and He always gives us a break. He gets no pleasure by punishing us. He scares us with the punishment warnings so that we don’t go astray and stay the course of thankful, obedient nations.

But there is a message in every calamity and disaster. Only people of understanding, people who reflect and people who can ponder understand the message and convey it to others. But most people, after the disaster, don’t care. They forget that they needed help and they will always need help.

We all need help and who is better helper than the Creator Himself? Always ask Him because He is your sole Provider, the most Merciful, the Beneficent. He says:

“… So establish worship, pay the poor-due
and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protecting
Friend, a blessed Patron and a blessed Helper.”
(al-Quran 22:78)

In the Foreword of my book I asked: After suffering from so much destruction, when are we going to learn?
After five years, and after a lot more destruction, bloodshed and Muslim genocide, this question still stands un-answered!
Or maybe it has been answered in: ‘We don’t want to learn’.

We have become very materialistic and selfish. How can you convince a selfish and opportunist person to be kind and merciful to others? But I am doing what Allama Iqbal loved to do – deliver the message. He said:
اگرچہ بت ہیں جماعت کی آستینوں میں
مجھے  ہے حکم  اذاں  لا  الہٰ  ا لا  اللہ
('Although there are hypocrites among the Ummah, I am commanded to proclaim (the Truth) that there is no god but Allah.' – Allama Iqbal)

Allama Iqbal got the inspiration to continue his mission from the many verses of the Quran where Allah had made clear to the Prophet (s.a.w.) that his duty was to convey the message clearly (whether people accept it or not, was not his problem). So he did his duty in the best way.

Actually, it’s the duty of all of us. I have been reminding people of that noble mission and the divine Message in my own imperfect way, with all my shortcomings. I am almost 70 now and would be leaving you guys soon. Am I tired? No. I am retired but not tired! But, to tell you the truth, I am getting ‘sick and tired’ of people’s materialistic attitude and hypocrisy (Munaafiqat). And they still claim to be Muslims! I wish they really were!
May Allah guide you and help you all!

Love and mercy never decrease by sharing. Charity brings you closer to other humans. A kind and comforting word can sometimes turn a life around. Always try to give, no matter how small it is. It’s the thought behind it that counts. Everything or anything you give in charity (to please Allah) will bring you rewards from the Almighty. He is the One, Who tells you to help others, take care of your fellow human beings, and always treat each other good. All these gestures are counted for rewards in the Hereafter. The Merciful is just waiting for you to do one little thing for the benefit of others, and He will shower His blessings upon you.

فَٱذْكُرُونِيۤ أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَٱشْكُرُواْ لِى وَلاَ تَكْفُرُونِ
“Therefore, remember Me, I will
remember you. Give thanks to Me,
and reject not Me.”
(al-Quran 2:152)

There was once a guy who lived in Iraq.  He enjoyed happy life. He was always drinking in the company of his friends and having good time. People of his neighborhood did not like him, although he was kind at heart. Once, he invited his friends over drinks, as usual, and asked his slave to bring some fruits from the market. He gave him four Dirhams. The slave took four Dirhams and went to the market place. On his way he found the famous Sufi saint of the town, Mansour bin Ammar Basri, who was collecting money to help some poor man.
He was saying that anybody who would give four Dirhams for that poor  man, Mansour Basri will himself pray to Allah for granting the donor’s four wishes. When the slave heard that, he immediately gave his master’s four Dirhams in charity for the poor man. Mansour Basri acknowledged and asked the slave what his four wishes were.
The slave said: “Here is my first wish:
I have a master who is not very popular among people. I want to get freedom from him.”
Mansour Basri raised his hands and invoked Allah, then asked about his second wish.
The slave said that he wanted the substitute of those four Dirhams.
Mansour Basri invoked the Almighty again; and then asked the slave of his third wish.
The slave said that he wished Allah made his master quit drinking and repent; and accept his repentance.
Mansour Basri prayed for that too; and asked the slave about his fourth and last wish.
The slave said: “Lastly, I would like that Allah grant forgiveness to me, to my master, to you, and to all the people who are present here, and bless them all.
Mansour Basri prayed for that too.
After that the slave came back empty handed. He knew that he was going to get good beating from his master.
The master was waiting with his friends. He was very upset because of the delay. “What took you so long? And where are the fruits?” He shouted.
The slave begged his master to listen to his story before reacting harshly. The master agreed. When the slave narrated what had really happened, his master started laughing.
“Alright, alright! Now tell me about your four wishes”, he asked.
The slave explained that his first wish was to get freedom from his master.
The master smiled and said: “Fine! I set you free. You are no more a slave. Now, tell me what your second wish was!”
The slave said that he wanted the substitute of those four Dirhams.
The master got up and gave the slave a pouch containing four thousand Dirhams, and said: “This is a gift for you.”
The slave was shocked. Then his master asked about his third wish. The slave replied that he wished his master quit drinking and repent to God.
The master said: “I promise you that I’ll never drink again, and I repent to God for all my sins. Now, what’s your fourth and the last wish?”
The slave answered that he had asked for God’s forgiveness and blessings for himself, his master, for the wise old man and for the crowd.
The master said: “Now, that is not in my powers.”
That same night, the master saw somebody in his dream. A voice said: “When you did all three things that were in your power, what do you think, We won’t do what is in Our power? You, your slave, Mansour Basri and the crowd, all are forgiven and blessed.”

وَتُوبُوۤاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعاً أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
“… And turn unto Allah together, O believers,
in order that you may succeed.”
(al-Quran 24:31)

THE TRUTH Behind Indo-Pakistan Wars (Part 2/2)

(Remembering 6th September, 1965)
(Part 2 of 2)

Apartheid – The Truth Behind
Indo-Pakistan Wars.
Hindus Fear Islam
But The Truth Will Prevail

(M. Javed Naseem)

“Verily Allah will defend (from ill) those who believe.
Verily, Allah loves not any that is a traitor to faith,
or show ingratitude to those against whom war is made,
permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;
and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid.”
(al-Quran 22:38-39)

Islamophobia was started
by extremist Hindus in India
during 1930’s. As a result
Muslims started their struggle
for a separate Homeland to
get rid of Apartheid

This article is based on historical facts that I want to bring into light once again for the enlightenment of the young Pakistanis and Indians. Some political parties are using the younger generation for their own political motives under the slogan of ‘nationalism’. People who are not well-educated and are not aware of the true history of partition, fall prey into the hands of these vicious politicians who are promoting sectarian violence and hatred. They cash in on the ‘hate’ politics because they don’t have any positive agenda, any practical program to improve the lives of millions of Indians who live under the poverty line.

They cover their own faults and shortcomings with anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan slogans and demonstrations. They spend a lot of money to keep this fire of hatred alive otherwise they would be out of business. As long as these racist and right-wing extremists exist in the Indian parliament, there would be no peace with Pakistan. This is guaranteed because they don’t want it.
They violate all principles of secularism because they are not secular; they are biased Hindus. And you see the proof of it in Indian life every day, every night. When they have no excuse, they make one; they create one. Bombay blast, Gujrat riots, Babri Masjid, Muzaffar Nagar riots, etc., etc., are a few examples.
They even bring some puppet Muslim groups into their fold who chant the same old song of anti-partition. They blame everything on Muslims who opted for Pakistan. They hold Pakistan and the partition responsible for their misery. That’s very stupid and unreasonable. It’s almost 70 years since partition. Pakistan is a reality, accept it!
Hindus of India/Pakistan went through the same partition and today many of them are billionaires. So, it’s not the partition; it’s rather the apartheid-based, anti-Muslim policies of the Hindu governments that are responsible for the misery of Indian Muslims.
There are more than 100-million Muslims in India. What have you done for yourselves or for the Muslim community? You are so weak and cowardly like sheep that you can’t even defend yourselves against those who come to kill you and burn your houses! Are you Muslims? Those brave 313 were the true Muslims who destroyed the well-equipped army of more than 1000 of the Makkah Unbelievers at Badr!

Don’t live on pity! Get up and unite yourselves; organize yourselves; plan some improvement projects; put in place your own community security groups; train yourselves to defend against an armed attack; try to create your voice in the parliament! You are 100-million people. Even a 100-million flies (or mosquitoes) can make the entire region sick and make them fled away. Channel your power and strength! The enemy is scared of your power that’s why they are using govt. power to deprive you and make your lives miserable. Stand up united and fight legally for your rights!

There is much more Truth
to it that you are blind to!
Ask someone who lived
through it and thanks God!

This article will also tell you, very briefly, the background truth of Kashmir conflict between India and Pakistan. Make sure that you can handle the truth!

The Background
Here’s the bitter truth of the background of all Indo-Pak wars! First: Although India signed the declaration of independence from Britain, they, in their heart of hearts, never accepted Pakistan. They claim that it’s their territory and they want it back. So, they try to annex every possible piece of land that was given to Muslims.
Secondly: India is the biggest ‘hypocrisy of the world’. It is a Hindu country, ruled by right-wing extremist Hindus but they chant the slogans of ‘secularism’ and ‘democracy’ to fool the nations of the world. Minorities have no rights in India and Muslims are always victimized.

If you open the history books, you will see that during the Muslim Mughal Empire, the minorities in India were treated decently and they had all the civil rights.

India was the richest, most
successful and very peaceful
country of the world during
the Muslim Mughal Empire!
Minorities were happy and
there was no Apartheid!

The West cannot criticize India openly because they fear to lose the biggest market for their military hardware and consumer goods. So, the economics controls the politics. The rest is bullshit.

The Radcliff Award:
If you look at the plight of Muslims and the minorities in India today, you can easily imagine how terrible things were a hundred years ago. It was that victimization, mistreatment, persecution, discrimination – or apartheid – that forced Indian Muslims to stand up and fight for their rights. After lots of violence, riots, bloodshed and killing, they decided eventually that they should have their own separate homeland. And that gave birth to the idea of Pakistan.

And God is always gracious to Muslims. He granted them a Muslim land.

“And We wished to be Gracious to those who were
being oppressed in the land, to make them leaders
(in Faith) and make them inheritors.”
(al-Quran 28:5)

Under the British rule, the partition plan of June 3, 1947, under the Indian Independence Act, envisaged the division of Punjab and Bengal which made it necessary to set up a Boundary Commission to demarcate the boundaries of the two countries.
Sir Cyril Radcliff, a British barrister, was assigned the job of drawing the boundary line as Chairman of the Boundary Commission. His formula was simple: Muslim majority areas form the new country Pakistan; Hindu majority areas would be the new India. But this principle was marred by conspiracy and collusion. At the same time there were some genuine problems that made the task complicated.

Lord Mountbatten was the British Viceroy of India.
Incontrovertible evidence is available that Mountbatten was very keen to see that in Punjab the whole Gurdaspur district, which had a Muslim majority, should not be assigned to Pakistan. Mountbatten’s strategy was that Punjab may be divided in such a manner that the state of Jammu and Kashmir could join either India or Pakistan, although the state was a Muslim-majority state but with a Hindu raja.

India used the same tactics in Junagadh. On August 15, 1947 the Nawab of Junagadh acceded to Pakistan. But the Indian government did not accept it. India wanted a plebiscite in Junagadh (a delaying tactic to gain time), which was eventually accepted by the Nawab in November 1947. Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto (a British puppet) was the Diwan (like a chief minister) of the Nawab. He took over the State by a coup against the Nawab. That made things easier for India. Later on, India not only annexed Junagadh, but also Manawada – Kashmir style!

The renowned British writer, Alastair Lamb in his book, ‘Kashmir, a disputed legacy’, has also established a sinister collusion between Mountbatten and the Indian Congress leadership as a result of which the Boundary Commission awarded Gurdaspur to India which culminated in the Indian intervention in Jammu and Kashmir on October 27, 1947.

In the division of Punjab, the award was unfair and awarded a number of Muslim majority areas to India. In Gurdaspur district two contiguous Muslim majority Tehsils of Gurdaspur and Batala were given to India along with Pathankot tehsil to provide a link between India and the Stat of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Muslim majority Tehsil Ajnala in the Amritsar district was also handed over to India. In Jullundur district the Muslim majority areas of Zira and Ferozepur in the Ferozepur distirct, were also given to India.

Similarly, in Bengal the most important question related to the future of Calcutta. It was the capital of the province. Although the Muslims formed a quarter of the population of Calcutta, a large section of its population consisted of scheduled castes (the minorities) that were allied with the Muslim League giving them majority. In any case, for more than two hundred years the Muslims of Bengal had contributed to make Calcutta what it was in 1947, a bustling centre of commerce and industry.

Sardar Patel, in his speech in Calcutta on January 15, 1950, had disclosed that the Congress had made a condition that it would agree to the partition of India only if they did not lose Calcutta. Sardar Patel had also once disclosed that Mountbatten had entered into a secret agreement with the Congress leaders to have Calcutta assigned to India.

At the time of the creation, Pakistan had already been squeezed as much as possible as a result of an unholy collusion between Mountbatten and the Indian Congress leaders. However, the Radcliff award (altered again at the last minute) was the meanest cut. This perfidious award paved the way for India’s military intervention in Kashmir.

In the words of Quaid-i-Azam, the Radcliff Award was an unjust, incomprehensible and even perverse award.

Kashmir Problem:
So much is written about this issue and I am not getting into the details. But the younger generation needs to be informed. So, in nutshell:

Pakistan was created in August 1947 and Indian army invaded Kashmir just a few weeks later on October 27, 1947. Pakistan didn’t even have a regular army, nor a defense mechanism. It was still in the process of settling the displaced people and organizing the few military units it inherited. So, the Jihadi volunteers from the Frontier (now KPK) and Afghanistan rushed to Kashmir to defend their Muslim brothers against aggression. Both India and Pakistan went to complain to the U.N. The United Nations passed a resolution to which both India and Pakistan agreed. The resolution called for speedy withdrawal of volunteers and the troops from both sides; and a ‘free and independent plebiscite’ (or referendum) to allow Kashmiris to choose whether to join Pakistan or India.
India never wanted to implement this resolution and kept the occupying army in Kashmir. Therefore, the Kashmiris are protesting and demanding their right to determination even today! The excerpts from the UN Security Council resolution:

Resolution 47 (1948)
On the India-Pakistan question submitted jointly by the Representatives for Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, the United Kingdom and United States of America and adopted by the Security Council at its 286th meeting held on 21 April, 1948.
(Document No. 5/726, dated the 21st April, 1948).

THE SECURITY COUNCIL …..
“Recommends to the Governments of India and Pakistan the following measures as those which in the opinion of the Council and appropriate to bring about a cessation of the fighting and to create proper conditions for a free and impartial plebiscite to decide whether the State of Jammu and Kashmir is to accede to India or Pakistan.

B – PLEBISCITE

6. The Government of India should undertake to ensure that the Government of the State invite the major political groups to designate responsible representatives to share equitably and fully in the conduct of the administration at the ministerial level, while the plebiscite is being prepared and carried out.

7. The Government of India should undertake that there will be established in Jammu and Kashmir a Plebiscite Administration to hold a Plebiscite as soon as possible on the question of the accession of the State to India or Pakistan.

11. The Government of India should undertake to prevent to give full support to the Administrator and his staff in preventing any threat, coercion or intimidation, bribery or other undue influence on the voters in the Plebiscite, and the Government of India should publicly announce and should cause the Government of the State to announce this undertaking as an international obligation binding on all
public authorities and officials in Jammu and Kashmir.

12. The Government of India should themselves and through the Government of the State declare and make known that all subjects of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, regardless of creed, caste or party, will be safe and free in expressing their views and in voting on the question of the accession of
the State and that there will be freedom of the Press, speech and assembly and freedom of travel in the State, including freedom of lawful entry and exit.

13. The Government of India should use and should ensure that the Government of the State also use their best endeavor to effect the withdrawal from the State of all Indian nationals other than those who are normally resident therein or who on or since 15th August 1947 have entered it for a lawful purpose.

15. The Commission of the Security Council should at the end of the plebiscite certify to the Council whether the plebiscite has or has not been really free and impartial.
(End of excerpts)

India’s right-wing extremist Hindu politicians never accepted Pakistan. They thought that it could not survive and they would be able to annex it back after a couple of months. They had already annexed Hyderabad Deccan, Junagadh and Manawada. They never missed a chance to harm Pakistan.

This mentality still prevails and that’s the main cause of friction between the two countries. People with such mentality are holding influential govt. positions in India, apart from being in the Parliament. Their political careers are hanging with the sole thread of ‘hate Pakistan’ or ‘hate Muslims’. Without it, they cannot survive!

REMEMBERING 6TH SEPTEMBER, 1965

Remembering 6th September, 1965
Pakistan’s Thanksgiving Day
We Defended The Motherland
And I Was There!

(Part 1 of 2)

(M. Javed Naseem)

“The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man)
from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend;
but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs;
at length they will be overcome; and the Unbelievers
will be gathered together to Hell.”
(al-Quran 8:36)

‘Defense of Pakistan’ Day:

September 6th is commemorated as the “Defense of Pakistan Day”. It should be celebrated as Pakistan’s “Thanksgiving Day”. On that day we defended our homeland from the open aggression of a 5-times bigger enemy – India. We were only 100-million people then and were marching comfortably with tons of confidence on the road to industrial and economic progress. I was 19 years old, hunting jobs and studying for my B.A. degree.

Pak military lacked manpower and we worked with them during the war as volunteers at Lahore Cantt. Ordnance Depot for loading and unloading the arms and ammunition on the trucks; and wherever the army took us to assist them. At night, we worked as Civil Defense volunteers and patrolled the streets of our neighborhoods in small teams of two each. We tried to catch the enemy spies, commandos and agents who, sometimes, roamed the streets as beggars and mentally retarded. We lived near North Cantt. Police Station, just a few km from the Wahgah border. The city of Amritsar (Indian Punjab) was only 7 miles from there.

It’s September again and
India has started border
skirmishes to divert people’s
attention. The real Indian
problems are always hidden
under the dirty carpet of anti-
Pakistan, anti-Muslim rhetoric.
And it works every time!

The Indian attack was extremely unexpected (although there were constant LOC violations and cross-border firing cases in Kashmir) during the whole month of August. In response, when Pak troops and militia groups made some serious inroads in Kashmir (a disputed territory), the Indian army tried to relieve some pressure from Kashmir and shifted to mainland Pakistan. Attack on Lahore on the 6th of September, 1965, in the very early morning was the major strategic move in this direction.

A sovereign country was attacked without a warning, without declaration of war and without any announcement violating all international laws. Pakistanis were not prepared for that and they were shocked.

وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَبَقُوۤاْ إِنَّهُمْ لاَ يُعْجِزُونَ

“Let not the Unbelievers think that they can
get the better (of the godly). They will never
frustrate (them)”.
(al-Quran 8:59)

Indian army benefited from the element of surprise (shock), entered a couple of km inside Lahore and kidnapped a double-decker bus of the Lahore Omni-bus Service (a govt. transport) parked at the terminal at Jallo near Wahgah. Indian media always show its image as their victory sign.

 أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعٌ مُّنتَصِرٌ
سَيُهْزَمُ ٱلْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَ
”Or do they say: We are acting together victoriously?
Soon will their multitude be put to flight,
and they will show their backs.”
(al-Quran 54:44-45)

Pakistan’s response came in time to thwart Indian attack. Pak Air Force immediately took action and supported the ground forces inflicting heavy losses on Indian troops. The next 17-days saw the mortar shelling, machine-gun rattling, smoke from the air strikes, noise of explosions and the warning sirens.

And we were the eye-witnesses to the ‘dog-fight’ between the fighter planes of Pakistan Air Force and the Indian Air Force. When the skies offered the video-game like jet-fighting, the Lahorites always came out in the open to watch the ‘dog-fights’. We saw M.M. Alam destroying enemy fighter planes. When an Indian plane was hit and engulfed in flames and heavy smoke, it started to fall and the pilot ejected with parachute. The Lahorites ran to catch the pilot and find the crashed plane. In the 1965 war, the PAF flew a total 2,364 sorties while the IAF flew 3,937 sorties.

Two days later on 8th September, India launched its main attack against Sialkot using its armored division and other strike formations. What ensued has been described as the largest tank battle since the WW-II. It was a hard and bitter struggle fought over many days and nights resulting in casualties on both sides. In the end the Indian main attack was held and severely mauled. Its armored division was forced to withdraw owing to very high losses in men and material.

In the ‘65-War, Pakistan had made serious inroads in Kashmir and came very close to settle the issue for ever. They stopped near Akhnoor bridge on the river Chenab in Kashmir. This bridge was the only road-link between India and Kashmir.

They gained thousands of km area in Punjab and Rajasthan too. They crippled Indian air force and ground forces, especially armored corp. This forced India to go to the UN Security Council and asked for ceasefire. Pakistan had the upper hand and did not want to stop. And then it happened what happens in wars – betrayal through conspiracies. We were warned by Allah but we did not care:

“O you who believe! Take not the Jews and
the Christians for your friends and protectors.
They are but friends and protectors to each other.
And he amongst you that turns to them (for
friendship) is of them. Verily, Allah guides not
a people unjust.”
(al-Quran 5:51)

Pakistan used to buy all its military hardware from Anglo-American power block. This block wanted to pressurize Pakistan to accept the UN-proposed ceasefire. So they blocked Pakistan’s supplies. They refused to continue the shipments of arms and ammunition to Pakistan unless Pakistan accepted the truce. It turned out that India, the champion of Non-Aligned Movement, had a secret pact with America, therefore, America could not help any country at war against India.
The irony was that Pakistan was a member of SEATO (South-East Asian Treaty Organization) and CENTO (Central Treaty Organization) – a NATO like body for Asia. America was obligated to help Pakistan in case of foreign aggression. But it was forced to accept the truce and things returned back to zero-point. Later, Pakistan left SEATO and CENTO.

During the 1965 war every citizen of the country was solidly united behind the government, although it was a military one, of Field Marshal Ayub Khan. The national priorities were clear and unambiguous in those days, any danger to the country called for unity and unstinted support to the government and the armed forces. There was no question of any political party or leader taking advantage of the war to berate the government for political or personal gain. This came much later when President Ayub’s health suffered a set back and personal ambitions of those he had brought into prominence (like Z.A.Bhutto) came to the fore.

Pakistan emerged from the September 1965 war with India, a strong and self-confident nation, proud of itself and its armed forces. With the nation’s support the Armed Forces of Pakistan repulsed India’s naked aggression across the international border and made her pay a price for it by capturing four times more territory than India. It was certainly their finest hour of glory and a day to be remembered by future generations of soldiers and civilians.

After the September 1965 Indo-Pakistan war and the Tashkent Agreement Pakistan relaxed, as peace had been restored. But India prepared for revenge, and six years later in 1971 again attacked across the international border, this time in the Eastern Wing of the country and succeeded in dismembering Pakistan while the World and the United Nations stood by and watched. A couple of Pakistani politicians (Z.A.Bhutto and Sh. Mujibur Rahman, etc.) were the principal players who conspired to gain power by any means, even if they had to lose half of the country!

Lt.-Gen. (retd.) F.S. Lodi recalls:
‘The Indian Army Chief, Gen. J. N. Chaudhry was so confident of defeating the Pakistani troops guarding the area and capturing Lahore that he announced that he would have a large peg of whisky at the Lahore Gymkhana Club in the evening of the 6th. He had reason to be confident as he was known in India as the ‘conqueror of Hyderabad in Deccan’. It was 17 years earlier that Gen Chaudhry had attacked the princely state of Hyderabad in Deccan, at the head of an armored division. This was part of India’s multi-pronged attack by three divisions, in spite of a stand-still agreement that India had signed with the state. But Nehru’s (the first Prime Minister of India) new-India had started to proclaim that her agreements and commitments, national and international, could be violated at will to suit her purpose.

South of Lahore, Pakistan launched its own counter attack and captured India’s Khem Karan region and beyond. This posed a serious threat to the rear of Indian troops facing Lahore.
During the operations India captured about 400 square miles of Pakistan territory but lost around 1600 square miles of its own to Pakistan. The war ended with the mediation effort of the USSR and a peace agreement was signed at Tashkent.
