يٰأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ بِٱلْبَاطِلِ

وَتَكْتُمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

“O followers of the Book! Why do you

confound the truth with the falsehood

and hide the truth while you know?”

(al-Quran 3:71)

The Romans are accused by the Jews and the Christians, sometimes rightly and sometimes wrongly, of many ills and injustices to their religious and social lives. Despite all evils and all negative propaganda, the Romans did a great service to the Jewish and Christian communities by clarifying the status of Jesus Christ. They did not interfere with their religious, cultural and social activities. On the contrary, it was the Jews and the Christians who kept fighting with each other and hurt their own religious and cultural cause. The Romans only tried to resolve their problems in consultation with Jewish Rabbis and the Christian priests. The Romans even declared that Jesus was a Jewish Prophet and not God or son of God. They announced death penalty for those who believed otherwise and created trouble in the society concerning Jesus. Here are some excerpts from the Gospel of Barnabas.

Death penalty decreed for violators:

On the request of the high priest, as recommended by the Roman governor, the Roman Senate declared that Jesus, the son of Mary, was a prophet of the Jews, and was neither God nor the son of God. The penalty of death was decreed for those who believed otherwise. This fact has been mentioned in Chapter 98 of the Gospel of Barnabas that starts with these words:

“And having said this, the multitude departed with the priest and the governor with Herod, having great disputations concerning Jesus and concerning his doctrine. Whereupon the priest prayed the Governor to write to Rome to the Senate the whole matter, which thing the Governor did; wherefore the Senate had compassion on Israel, and decreed that on pain of death none should call Jesus the Nazarene, Prophet of the Jews, either God or son of God. Which decree was posted up in the Temple, engraved upon copper.”

Allah the Almighty says in the Quran:

لَقَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوۤاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ

ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَقَالَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ يَابَنِيۤ إِسْرَائِيلَ

ٱعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ

فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيهِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ ٱلنَّارُ

وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ

“They do blaspheme who say: Allah is

Christ the son of Mary. But said Christ:

O Children of Israel! Worship Allah,

my Lord and your Lord. Whoever joins

other gods with Allah, Allah will forbid

him the Garden, and the Fire will be his

abode. There will for the wrong-doers

be no one to help.”

(al-Quran 5:72)

The Bible says:

Exodus 20:3: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

Exodus 34:14a: “For thou shalt worship no other god.”

The trinity is idolatry, it puts Jesus Christ as a god before God. Man has been fooling around with Scriptures for centuries. The holy Word of God has been changed by people to suit their desires and lifestyles. People of the Book have been blaming the Romans for every evil custom and ritual but the Romans did a great favor to the believers. They put things straight and even issued an imperial decree. It is that some Jews and Christians wanted to believe otherwise by disregarding the Law of God, and eventually crucifying Jesus. The friends of the Devil disguised as the friends of Moses and Jesus, never abandoned their mission!

And Allah also clarifies the status of Jesus, the son of Mary, in the Holy Quran. Jesus was a messenger of God, like many others before him, and he, as well as his mother Mary, was a human being. Here is the verse:

مَّا ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ

مِن قَبْلِهِ ٱلرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّهُ صِدِّيقَةٌ كَانَا

يَأْكُلاَنِ ٱلطَّعَامَ ٱنْظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ

لَهُمُ ٱلآيَاتِ ثُمَّ ٱنْظُرْ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ

“Christ the son of Mary was no

more than a messenger; many were

the messengers that passed away

before him. His mother was a woman

of truth. They had both to eat their

(daily) food. See how Allah does

make His signs clear to them; yet

see in what ways they are deluded

away from the truth!”

(al-Quran 5:75)

The Bible says:

Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord.”

The Lord God Almighty, the Creator, the Father of Jesus Christ is one God not three, not three-in-one, not one-in-three, ONE! And only ONE! God is not a three-headed multi-personality trinity.’

The world vs the Hereafter

“No man can in any wise serve two masters that are at enmity one with the other; for if the one shall love you, the other will hate you. Even so I tell you in truth that ye cannot serve God and the world for the world lies in falsehood, covetousness, and malignity. Ye cannot therefore find rest in the world, but rather persecution and loss. Wherefore serve God and despise the world, for from me ye shall find rest for your souls. Hear my words for I speak unto you in truth.” – Jesus Christ.

Offence

“If your eye be an offence to you, pluck it out. For it is better that you go with one eye only into paradise than with both of them into hell.”

“If your hand or your foot offend you, do likewise; for it is better that you go into the Kingdom of Heaven with one foot or with one hand, than with two hands and two feet into Hell.” – Jesus Christ.

“O you who believe!

Why do you say what you do not do?

It is most hateful in the sight of Allah that

you say that which you do not do.”
 

(al-Quran 61:2-3)

Saying one thing and doing something else falls into the definition of hypocrisy (Munafiqat). The Almighty God has stated clearly in the Holy Quran that this act is the most hateful or abominable in the eyes of the Creator.

Honesty is the best policy. You cannot get too far with lies and deception. Although in today's world, you can fool millions of people with lies and deceptions by using the corrupt media or fake news. The best examples of this hypocrisy, lies & deception are the events of 9/11, Osama bin Laden project, invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria; and the 'Covid' plandemic. But the truth is out there too. You need to seek it and dig it out. The Evil Empire rules the world with bombs & bullets and lies & deception. And on top of it they claim to be the followers of Jesus and the People of The Book! In fact, they ridicule and blaspheme the Bible and the teachings of Jesus.

According to the Bible, Prophet Jesus said:

“If you hold to my teaching,

you are really my disciples.

Then you will know the truth,

and the truth will set you free.”

(John 8:31-32)

Allah says in the Quran says:

“Truth has come and falsehood has vanished

away. Lo, falsehood is ever bound to vanish.”

(al-Quran 17:81)

Truth always prevails. Falsehood may get you some temporary benefits but eventually the truth comes out and prevails. Lies create only troubles, not only for the liars but also for others. We see it everyday in our life. Being truthful and honest is the best way of life. Allah commands us in the Quran:

“And cover not Truth with falsehood,

nor conceal the Truth when you know it.”

(al-Quran 2:42)

Once upon a time there were two friends who went to see the desert in an Arab country. Their names were Michael and Joseph. They did not have much experience of
traveling in the desert. It was their first ‘desert expedition’, therefore, they were well equipped with all kinds of maps, books and brochures.

In the first part of their journey, they had fun in the villages near the desert, They enjoyed the camel ride and sliding on the sand dunes. ‘This expedition is very interesting’, they thought. ‘We have not faced any remarkable problem so far. It’s so much fun’, they told each other. Then they got lost in the desert. They had been wandering all day but still there was no sign of any village or an oasis. They even lost the sense of direction and the maps would not help much either. They got scared. They were tired, hungry and thirsty. So they started praying to God for help.

After wandering for another hour or so, they spotted a mosque far away. They started running towards it with all their strength. Finally, they arrived at the oasis, almost half
dead. While lying on the sand, one friend said to the other:

‘Listen Michael! We better change our names to some Muslim names otherwise the people in the mosque won’t help us. Now, my name is Yusuf, and not Joseph. How about you?’
Michael replied: ‘Hey! I am what I am. My name is Michael and I am not going to change it for any reason.’

 

So, they both entered the mosque. The Imam of the mosque greeted them and asked about their well-being. They said they were hungry and thirsty, and very tired. Joseph introduced himself as Yusuf, a Muslim, while Michael said that he was a Christian and his name was Michael.
The Imam smiled and said: ‘Peace be upon you both’. Then he called somebody and asked him to bring food and water for Michael. When the food was brought, he placed the tray in front of Michael and said:

‘Please start in the name of God, and enjoy it.’Then he turned to Joseph with a smile, shook his hand and said: ‘Happy Ramadan Mubarak, brother Yusuf!’

Planning based on lies and deception, can backfire. It is good and beneficial to be clear, correct and honest. Always remember! Honesty pays. The Almighty Creator does not like liars and hypocrites. Allah says in the Holy Quran:

“Lo, Allah guides not him
who is a liar, an ingrate.”
(al-Quran 39:3)

In another Surah in the Holy Quran The Almighty says:

“Lo, Allah guides not one
who is a prodigal, a liar.”
(al-Quran 40:28)

If the door of guidance is closed, we would be lost. There is none to guide us and get us out of troubles. Allah's mercy bestows upon us blessings and opens the door of guidance for us. Therefore, honesty is always the best policy. It saves us from a lot of troubles, the fear of getting caught and humiliation.

“The word came: "O Noah!

Come down (from the Ark) with peace from Us,

and blessing on you and on some of the peoples

(who will spring) from those with you; but (there

will be other) peoples to whom We shall grant

their pleasures (for a time), but in the end will

a grievous penalty reach them from Us."

(al-Quran 11:48)

Noah was chosen by Allah as a Prophet for his nation. He told his people that there was no other deity worthy of worship except God, Who is One and Only. Therefore, they should stop worshiping All those gods and idols otherwise they would face the fury of God and would be punished. He asked his people to serve Allah, keep their duty unto Him and obey Him. He would forgive their sins and might give them respite until an appointed term. He advised them to repent and seek pardon of their Almighty Lord as He was surely ever Forgiving.

The people, when they heard the message, started laughing. They ridiculed and humiliated Noah. They challenged him to bring out whatever punishment he was referring to. They did not take him seriously and refused to abandon the religious practices of their forefathers. The leaders of tribes and the elders of the community told Noah that he was just an ordinary man, like others. They did not believe that he was a Prophet of God as they did not see anything special in him. Some of them even accused him of being an impostor. It was very frustrating for Noah but he continued to do his duty. He kept on delivering the Divine message, warning people of grave consequences if they did not believe in Allah. He said:

‘O my people! I am not asking of you any money or any reward. My reward is with Allah. I am just a warner. I am not going to thrust away those who believe. One day all of you are going to meet your Lord, the Creator. But I see a lot of ignorant people among you. I am not claiming that I have treasures of Allah, nor I have the knowledge of the Unseen. I am not saying that I am an angel. Don’t misunderstand me. I have a clear message from Allah. Worship Him, obey Him and don’t scorn or talk bad of those who believe in God. Allah knows best what is in your hearts.’

The leaders of the tribes said: ‘O Noah! You have disputed with us. We don’t accept what you say. Now, you bring upon us that (punishment) which you have been threatening us with. We want to see how truthful you are.’
Noah replied: ‘Only Allah will bring it upon you, if and when He will, and you will, by no means, be able to escape. So, repent and seek His forgiveness and He would bless you with wealth and sons.’

The people, however, refused to listen to him and every time he wanted to talk to them they put their fingers in their ears, or covered their heads, and walked away. They continued to oppose him. Their elders and leaders started telling people not to abandon their existing gods and stop listening to Noah.

The situation got very frustrating for Noah. Eventually, out of desperation, he told Allah that He had conveyed the divine message to them but nobody listened. They opposed him, insulted him and refused to hear anything about One God. Therefore, he begged Allah to punish them so that they could learn a lesson.

God consoled Noah and told him not to be distressed. He then commanded him to build a ship (ark). Allah said: ‘Build the ship under Our Eyes and by Our Inspiration, and speak not unto Me on behalf of those people who do wrong. Lo! They will be drowned.’

As Noah was constructing the ark, the elders as well as the people, whenever they passed by, mocked him. Noah told them not to mock him as they were themselves going to be mocked. They were in for a ‘lasting doom’. They would see who was going to have the last laugh.

Then came the Hour that Allah had decreed. The waters gushed forth and flooded the earth. Noah was told to load two of each kind (male and female) of all living creatures,
his family and all the believers, who were not many in number. Even Noah’s own son refused to board the ark. Noah said:
‘O my son! Come ride with us and be not the one with the disbelievers.’
But his son replied: ‘No. I will climb the mountain and that will save me from the water.’
Noah cried out to his son: ‘This day nobody can protect anybody from the wrath of Allah except those who receive mercy from Allah.’

Then the mighty waves, as high as mountains, came gushing forth and swallowed Noah’s son along with all the non-believers. The evil-doers met their doom. Thus the disbelievers and their towns were destroyed. When Allah’s commandment was fulfilled and the water
subsided, Noah’s ark came to rest upon a mountain called ‘Al-Judi’.

Noah prayed and thanked God; then asked for His forgiveness. God said:
‘Noah! Take to the way of peace. Our blessings are upon you. And upon people
descending from you.’

Noah and his people in the ark landed safely. God granted them grace and His bounties. And they flourished in the earth. Life on earth started anew with the landing of Noah’s ark. It restarted with a handful of people, animals and birds and then multiplied into millions, as we see them today.

Jesus, the son of Mary, was a great Prophet of God who delivered the Divine Message to the nation of Bani Israel. It was the same message that was delivered by Prophet Moses to his nation; and by the last Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) to the mankind. But the 'doctors' (I would say 'surgeons') of religion changed that message to suit their needs. That happened in every religion, in every era.

In the Bible (Chapter of Revelation), a reference is made to the corrupt and hypocrite priests, calling their institution the “Synagogue of Satan”. In the letters addressed to the Christian churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia, it is said:

“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of the first and the last, who was dead and came to life: I know your affliction and your poverty, even though you are rich. I know the slander on the part of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.” – (Revelation 2:8-9)

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: I know your works. Look, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but are lying—I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you." – (Revelation 3:7-9)

Jesus on idolaters, hypocrites & corrupt priests:

Addressing the selfish priests and scribes – the hypocrites and the corrupt preachers – Jesus, the son of Mary, said:

“Hypocrites! You do this to fill your purse, and therefore you tithe rue and mint.”

Talking about idolatry, Jesus said:

“O miserable ones! For to others you show the most clear way, by which you will not go. You scribes and doctors lay upon the shoulders of others weights of unbearable weight, but you yourselves the while are not willing to move them with one of your fingers. Truly I say to you, that every evil has entered into the world under the pretext of the elders. Tell me, who made idolatry to enter into the world, if not the usage of the elders? For there was a king who exceedingly loved his father, whose name was Baal.”

“Whereupon, when the father was dead, his son for his own consolation, caused to be made an image like to his father, and set it up in the market-place of the city. And he made a decree that every one who approached that statue within a space of fifteen cubits should be safe, and no one any account should do him hurt. Hence the malefactors, by reason of the benefit they received therefrom, began to offer to the statue roses and flowers, and in a short time the offerings were changed into money and food, insomuch that they called it god, to honour it. Which thing from custom was transformed into a law, insomuch that the idol of Baal spread through all the world.”

“And how much does God lament this by the prophet Isaiah, saying: 'Truly this people worships me in vain, for they have annulled my Law given to them by my servant Moses, and follow the traditions of their elders.”

“Moreover I say to you, that one syllable of the Law of God cannot be broken without the gravest sin. But I do you to wit that it is necessary to observe that which God says by Isaiah the prophet, with these words: “Wash you and be clean, take away your thoughts from my eyes”. Truly I say to you, that all the water of the sea will not wash him who with his heart loves iniquities.”

“And furthermore I say to you, that no one will make prayer pleasing to God if he be not washed, but will burden his soul with sin like to idolatry. Believe me, in sooth, that if man should make prayer to God as is fitting, he would obtain all that he should ask. Remember Moses the servant of God, who with his prayer scourged Egypt, opened the Red Sea, and there drowned Pharaoh and his host. Remember Joshua, who made the sun stand still; Samuel, who smote with fear the innumerable host of the Philistines; Elijah, who made the fire to rain from heaven; Elisha raised a dead man, and so many other holy prophets, who by prayer obtained all that they asked. But those men truly did not seek their own in their matters, but sought only God and his honour.”

Jesus Defines God

“… God is a good without which there is naught good; God is a being without which there is naught that is; God is a life without which there is naught that liveth; so great that he filleth all and is everywhere. He alone hath no equal. He hath had no beginning, nor will he ever have an end, but to everything hath he given a beginning, and to everything shall he give an end. He hath no father nor mother; he hath no sons, nor brethren, nor companions. And because God hath no body, therefore he eateth not, sleepeth not, dieth not, walketh not, moveth not, but abideth eternally without human similitude, for that he is incorporeal, uncompounded, immaterial, of the most simple substance. He is so good that he loveth goodness only; he is so just that when he punisheth or pardoneth it cannot be gainsaid.”

A blind man asked a saint:

“Can there be anything worse than

losing your eyesight?”

The saint replied:

“Yes, losing your vision!”

Thank God that Muslim youth is talented and serious to achieve success and glory. But according to the law of nature, only a handful of them will reach the top and set new records. The possibility is always there for all of them to reach the top. It depends on who wants to go an extra mile!

The Muslim world is suffering today because of the incompetent, dishonest and hypocrite leaders who are out there to please the Zionist Evil Empire, so that they can stay in power for as long as possible. The puppets or the fake leaders who are neither honest nor sincere in serving their people, cling to power by hook or crook, to plunder the wealth of the nation. Still there are people in those countries who seriously want to eliminate poverty, corruption, nepotism and incompetence. They want to create a peaceful society that flourishes under social justice and equal opportunity.

Muslim youth is talented but they are denied the opportunities to achieve top honors by the corrupt and inept rulers who have no idea what good governance is. Today, only those few young Muslims make their entry on the stage of success and fame who try on their own, on individual level, or who are supported by the talent-hunters of the Western countries. And they hardly return to their countries of origin to make a positive and constructive contribution. They are discouraged by the corrupt administrations. And whose loss is that?

The talented Muslim youth hold our future in their hands and we should be conscious about that. There are young people who believe in the Almighty, Most Merciful and Omnipotent Allah. They love justice and peace; and can lead us to the shores through this dreadful storm of evil. We should try our best to give them the best of education, best opportunities and facilities to achieve their dreams. Their success is our success – Ummah's success! Allah tells us in the Quran:

“Let there arise out of you a group of people

inviting to all that is good, enjoining

what is right, and forbidding what is

wrong! They are the ones

who are successful.”
(al-Quran 3:104)

There is not much of religious (Islamic) literature for kids or youngsters – neither in Urdu nor in English. It’s a shame. The ‘scholars’ and ‘ulema’ talk about it but do nothing
practically to solve the problem. Our younger generation has not enough knowledge of Islam and its Prophets. Even the elders or parents don’t know much about the prophets and the history of Islam. They don't have the knowledge of the Quran. Therefore, they are not in a position to pass on the necessary and important knowledge to their children. The result is obvious. When the kids grow up, they are like most of those adults who are ignorant about the religion they claim to be theirs. They cannot discuss even general or basic religious issues with non-Muslims who are always curious to know about Islam.

The fault lies, of course, on the system of education and on those so-called educationists who prepare the curriculum for schools. But at the same time, parents are also to blame because they don't offer kids the basic “Tarbiah or Tarbiat”.

Allah the Almighty is the source of all knowledge, all love, all peace and all Good. He guided and educated humans through the Scriptures that were brought to people by many Prophets and Messengers of God. In the war between Good and Evil, if we are supporting Good, we need to have the knowledge of the Scriptures. We should know the Word of God and His Commands that are meant to guide us through. Every other option or way will lead us to disaster and destruction. And we have been experiencing that for decades now. What are we waiting for?

A miracle?
