WHY DON'T YOU REFLECT?

Allah Is The Supreme Creator

Why Don’t You Reflect?
Look At Yourself And Around You!
You Can’t Ignore His Signs, His Creation!

(M. Javed Naseem)

“Say: Truly, my prayer and my service of
sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for
Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds.”
(al-Quran 6:162)

“Just Do It!” is a very fashionable slogan. The youngsters (particularly in the West) love to promote it by displaying it in different ways – T-shirts, buttons, stickers, ads, etc. The youngsters in Asia, Africa and Latin America copy the Western traditions because they are not only considered fashionable but also because they come from the land of their ex-colonial masters (so, they must be good!). Very few youngsters actually know where they should apply this slogan in life. I would apply it to my Faith.

When you are studying the Quran and you find a command of Allah (Do it! or Don’t do it!) then you just follow it! Just obey it! Just do it and don’t question it. You would eventually know the wisdom in it. How in the world can you question the command of Allah, your Creator? If He tells you to believe in something, just believe it! Your duty is: ‘I hear it and I obey it’ – no questions, no challenges! Some call it a ‘blind faith’. No, it is not blind faith. It is ‘the Faith’, because we have a ‘limited’ capacity of understanding and He and His Creations are sometimes beyond our comprehension. You cannot explain to a blind man the beauty of mystic colors of a peacock because it is beyond his imagination or comprehension. Allah tells us very clearly what we are supposed to do to succeed and prosper in this world:

يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ٱرْكَعُواْ وَٱسْجُدُواْ وَاعْبُدُواْ
رَبَّكُمْ وَٱفْعَلُواْ ٱلْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
“O you who believe! Bow down, prostrate
yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good;
that you may prosper!”
(al-Quran 22:77)

We like to quote somebody’s revolutionary secular thoughts/slogans because we find it fashionable and impressive. By doing that, actually, we are exposing ourselves. Most of us don’t even know the purpose of our own lives on this planet Earth, how are we going to understand the purpose of God’s immense and vast Creation? We don’t even know His Creation completely. Every day, we are discovering something new which is mind-boggling and reminds us of our limitations and inadequacy.

Modern scientists are talking about millions of galaxies (once again, millions) and distant planets, billions of light-years away. What we call ‘space’ is actually such a wide and immense area that we can’t even fathom it, nor grasp it. On hearing all the stupid theories, beliefs and the questions we ask each other about the creation, the universe, planets, galaxies, stars, etc., Allah must be smiling and telling us:

‘Why don’t you ponder?’
‘Why don’t you reflect?’
‘Why don’t you think?’

“Do they not reflect?”
(al-Quran 7:184)

“Do they not reflect in their own minds?
Not but for just ends and for a term appointed,
did Allah create the heavens and the earth,
and all between them; yet are there truly many
among men who deny the meeting with their
Lord (at the Resurrection)!”
(al-Quran 30:8)

“Do they not then earnestly seek to understand
the Quran, or are their hearts locked up by them?”
(al-Quran 47:24)

“Do they not consider the Quran (with care)?”
(Or: “Why do they not study the Quran carefully?”)
(al-Quran 4:82)

There are Allah’s signs all over the universe, around us, on us, within us! How can we not see them and ponder?

“Behold! In the creation of the heavens and
the earth, and the alternation of night and day,
there are indeed signs for men of understanding.”
(al-Quran 3:190)

Let’s have a look at this beautiful universe Allah has created. We are trying to probe the Moon and the Mars but there’s a lot more beyond that. And when you start pondering over that, you miserably fail to grasp. You are lost.

See the pic-1 below! When you put the Earth next to the Pluto, the Earth is very big, bigger than the Mars and the Venus. We feel good, great.

Now, see the pic-2 below! The Pluto becomes a mere dot (.), a pixel, and the Earth is like a small pebble in front of the Saturn and the Jupiter. We (the Earthly) are humbled by the Jupiter. We are embarrassed.

See the pic-3 below now! We are in front of the mighty Sun. The Pluto is almost gone; the Earth becomes a dot (.), a pixel, and the Jupiter itself is humbled. It becomes a small pebble in comparison to the Sun. We feel ashamed. We are nothing!

Now, see the pic-4 below! The mighty sun is humbled in front of the Pellux and the Arcturus. It becomes a small pebble. Subhan-Allah! But it doesn’t end there.

See the next picture below! The giants (Pollux & Arcturus) are humbled by the super Aldebaran. Subhan-Allah!

Let’s go further and see the next level. The picture below shows the heavy-weight Aldebaran in front of the Betelgeuse and the super-giant Antares. And that comparison looks like a mis-match. Subhan-Allah!

When you put the Sun next to the Antares, the sun looks like a mere dot (.), a pixel.
Antares is one of the biggest planets we humans have discovered so far.
It is the 15th brightest star in the sky. It is more than 1000 light years away.
Its dimensions are beyond our comprehension; beyond our imagination.
It’s mind-boggling. Our brain is humbled!

Is the planet ‘An-Tares’ the same that has been mentioned in the Holy Quran as ‘Al-Tareq’ or ‘At-Tariq’ (Surah At-Tariq)?

“By the Heaven and the Morning Star (At-Tariq)!
Ah! What will tell you what the Morning Star
(at-Tariq) is! – The Piercing-light Star!”
(al-Quran 86:1-3).

You can’t imagine how big the “Arcturus” and “Antares” are! I can’t find the words to fit the dimensions.

But the Antares is not the ultimate. We have discovered another ‘super planet’  which is called the ‘Pistol Star’. See the picture below!

You’ll laugh at the comparison between the two (Antares & Pistol Star). The super-giant Antares becomes a David in front of a Goliath (the Pistol Star). So, how big is the Pistol Star? Allah, the Supreme Creator, has put it somewhere in space to float in its orbit.
Can you grasp it? Allah-o-Akbar!

And there are more of them in the space above, apart from numerous galaxies! How far does it go? How big is the biggest that we haven’t discovered yet? What are their functions? What’s their purpose? Do they have anything to do with us, the Earth? Is the Paradise located on some of them? Are they inhabited by some creatures? There are many questions but we may not get all the answers during our lifetime, except when Allah bestows the knowledge upon us. Subhan-Allah!

One thing is clear though. Anybody who is reading this article knows now what it means when Allah talks about the ‘worlds’ (‘Aalameen’). And we, with our limited knowledge thought that there were only two – this world and the Paradise. Only He knows best as He is the ‘Lord of these Worlds’:

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ
“Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and
Sustainer of the worlds”
(or “The Lord of the Worlds”).

But we may get an answer to one question though: How in the world people still don’t believe in God despite all the clear signs?
Because they don’t want to believe!

“And a sign for them is the Night. We withdraw
therefrom the Day, and behold they are plunged
in darkness. And the Sun runs his course for a
period determined for it. That is the decree of (Him),
the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
And the Moon, We have measured for it stages
(to traverse) till it returns like the old (and withered)
lower part of a date-stalk. It is not permitted to the
Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night
outstrip the Day. Each (just) swims along in
(its own) orbit (according to Law)”.
(al-Quran 36:37-40)

So, how big you think your world is? Are you humbled?
How big is your universe? How high can you fly? How vast is your imagination?
You can’t think beyond a certain point. That’s your limit, O Human! That’s your vast vast world! But is it really vast?

“Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and
Sustainer of the worlds”
(or “The Lord of the Worlds”).
(al-Quran 1:2)

We recite these words many times every day. We also say “Allah-o-Akbar” (‘Allah is the Greatest’) on many occasions each day. But do we really ponder upon these words?
Do you understand when Allah, the Almighty, refers to the term ‘Aalameen’ (the worlds), how many and how big they are? What’s in all those planets, moons and galaxies? We are humbled. We know nothing. Allah did not create these worlds for fun! Everything has been created for a purpose. Only we don’t know it.

And how great is the Creator of all those great worlds?
It’s mind-boggling. Allah-o-Akbar!

The Supreme Creator (Allah) has certain rights over His Creation (us, human beings). We are referred to as ‘Abd’ (man, slave, servant) and so were all the Prophets or the Messengers of God. They were ‘slaves of Allah’ and so are we. The actions of this ‘Abd’ are called ‘Ibadah’. Allah refers to it in the Quran: ‘Allah created the Jinn and Humans for Ibadah’.

Most people, as a matter of fact most Muslims, don’t understand the comprehensive meaning of the word ‘Ibadah’. In Urdu and Persian it is called ‘Bandagi’. ‘Abd’ performs ‘Ibadah’ and ‘Bandah’ (slave, servant) performs ‘Bandagi’. Now, Ibadah or Bandagi is not confined to mere Salaat (prayer), Zakat (obligatory charity), Saum (fasting) and Hajj (pilgrimage). It is a lot more than that. We are slaves (servants) of Allah and what is required from slaves is called ‘obedience’. Never disobey your Master! And that includes everything you do in life. We need to obey and please our Master (Creator) in all walks of life, in our social, cultural, political, economic, educational, religious and spiritual affairs.

Salaat, Zakat, Saum and Hajj are just a small part of this ‘Ibadah’ or ‘Bandagi’. The major part of this obedience (Ibadah or Bandagi) relates to good deeds done for other human beings. Allah is very pleased when we serve and help His Creation – our fellow human beings – and He bestows upon us His blessings and bounties as a reward. The only thing we need to do is to prove practically that we are obedient to Him with all sincerity, honesty, loyalty, fidelity, faithfulness; with all our strength, sources and resources. Allah tells us in the Quran that He’ll test/try our sincerity of Faith.

By the way, what is Islam? Islam is to surrender or submit yourself totally and unconditionally to the Will of God. In other words, you live and die for Allah and everything between these two ends (life & death) should be done in a way that pleases Allah. That way, everything you do would become a part of ‘Ibadah’ or ‘Bandagi’ (worship of Allah). You handle your worldly affairs, live your worldly life and discharge your worldly obligations but as per the Quranic guidelines. That is Allah’s right on us because He is our Master, our Creator and our Sustainer. And in fact, that is the essence of the Deen called Islam.

Now, the question is: How in the world can we deny, ignore, dispute or disobey any command of our Great Master (the Supreme Creator) when we know that we cannot run away or escape from Him? And we also know (through His warnings) that He will punish the disobedient people! Disobedience cost Iblees (the Satan) the Paradise and he was destined to Hellfire. Did we learn any lesson from that?

In a sound and healthy state of mind, we cannot think of any escape-route because there’s none. It’s simply ‘obey Me or else’. The only logical reason for disobedience could be that we are not convinced of Allah’s powers, capability, capacity and greatness. He threatens us with Hellfire (the extreme punishment) and we don’t care? How can we ignore such a serious and stern warning and continue disobeying Him, enjoying, at the same time, His bounties day and night? This is being ‘shamelessly ungrateful’!

Let’s see, once again, how great and how powerful Allah is, Who has created things beyond our imagination and comprehension!

"Is not He Who created the heavens and the
earth able to create the like thereof?" Yes,
indeed! For He is the Creator Supreme
of skill and knowledge (infinite)!”
(al-Quran 36:81)

“And He is Well-versed in
every kind of creation!”
(al-Quran 36:79).
“Verily, when He intends a thing,
His Command is, "be", and it is!”
(al-Quran 36:82)

“So glory to Him in Whose hands is the
dominion of all things; and to Him will
you be all brought back.”
(al-Quran 36:83)

“It is He Who has made you (His) agents,
inheritors of the earth. He has raised you
in ranks, some above others, that He may
try you in the gifts He has given you; for
your Lord is quick in punishment, yet
He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.”
(al-Quran 6:165)

So, glorify honestly the Supreme Creator; be faithfully obedient to Him, and be sincerely grateful to Him! Your success is guaranteed! Allah-o-Akbar!

THE LAST LETTER TO THE MURDERERS OF HUMANITY

From Ora TV, Uncensored!
Jesse Ventura, Off The Grid:
Dated: November 12, 2014

The Last Letter
To The Murderers of Humanity

(Compiled by: M. Javed Naseem)

War is the most profitable industry for the ‘Triangle of Evil’ (USA-UK-Israel) who claim to be the victims of ‘would be aggression’, and on that pretext invade other countries that are rich in oil, gas, mineral resources and have sound economies. War is exported in a beautiful ‘packing material’ called democracy and freedom. If you need guns and bombs to enforce democracy, it’s not democracy. It’s probably ‘demo-crazy’!

The American war machine is benefiting the most from these bloody ventures – both politically and economically. But at the same time, the Triangle of Evil is losing its credibility and respect with every passing day, with every bomb dropped, with every drone attack and with every bullet unjustly fired.

As the war machine operators and controllers are busy amassing billions of dollars, the innocent bystanders (people of the countries involved) are paying the price. They are constantly going through hell, day in day out. They are crying for help and nobody is paying attention. They are being massacred but the controllers shrug their shoulders while counting the body bags, and calling it the ‘collateral damage’.

From An Iraq-War Veteran Who Died At 34
Tomas Young
A Voice For Peace!

A young American soldier, Tomas Young, was paralyzed during Iraq-War and eventually died at the age of 34. What he went through, nobody can imagine as nobody can feel his pain. Before dying, he wrote a letter to George Bush and Dick Cheney. Here’s a sample of his feelings:

To: George W. Bush & Dick Cheney:

"You may evade justice but in our eyes
you are each guilty of egregious war crimes,
of plunder and, finally, of murder, including
the murder of thousands of young Americans –
my fellow veterans – whose future you stole."
                                                                                  --- Tomas Young
Two days after September 11th, a young man named Tomas Young enlisted in the U.S. Army. During a Humvee ride through Iraq's Sadr City, he was shot through the spinal cord & paralyzed.
When he returned to the U.S., he became one of the most powerful voices of the anti-war movement.
He died on Monday, November 10th at the age of 34.
In his honor, I'd like to bring this to your attention. On the 10th anniversary of the Iraq war, Tomas wrote "The Last Letter: A Message to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney From a Dying Veteran." Here are some excerpts:
“Your positions of authority, your millions of dollars
of personal wealth, your public relations consultants,
[and your privilege and power] cannot mask the
hollowness of your character. You sent us to fight
and die in Iraq after you, Mr. Cheney, dodged the
draft in Vietnam, and you, Mr. Bush, went AWOL
from your National Guard unit. Your cowardice
and selfishness were established decades ago.
You were not willing to risk yourselves for our
nation but you sent hundreds of thousands of
young men and women to be sacrificed in a
senseless war with no more thought than it takes
to put out the garbage."

"You may evade justice but in our eyes
you are each guilty of egregious war crimes,
of plunder and, finally, of murder, including
the murder of thousands of young Americans –
my fellow veterans – whose future you stole."

When asked by ‘Democracy Now!’, how he'd want to be remembered, he said: "That I fought as hard as I could to keep young men and women away from military service. I fought as hard as I could to keep another me from coming back to Iraq."
To Tomas - Thank you for being angry. Thank you for speaking out. Thank you for espousing peace. Thank you for pushing justice. Thank you for loving America

Dick Cheney’s Black Water:
Making White Money
With Black Means

Blackwater: Just Another Government Scam?

Four former Blackwater Worldwide security guards were recently convicted in their roles for the 2007 massacre of 17 Iraqis in Baghdad. And to top it off, “we were paying an equivalent of $1 Million per Blackwater guard," the Governor points out. “Our military men and women are lucky to be making $30,000 to $40,000 a year. And you’re telling me our government paid $1 Billion for 1,000 Blackwater operators?” Does anybody see something wrong in that, besides Jesse? Message him at ora.tv/offthegrid/askjesse.

The Last Letter

A Message to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney
From a Dying Veteran

To: George W. Bush and Dick Cheney
From: Tomas Young

I write this letter on the 10th anniversary of the Iraq War on behalf of my fellow Iraq War veterans. I write this letter on behalf of the 4,488 soldiers and Marines who died in Iraq. I write this letter on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of veterans who have been wounded and on behalf of those whose wounds, physical and psychological, have destroyed their lives. I am one of those gravely wounded. I was paralyzed in an insurgent ambush in 2004 in Sadr City. My life is coming to an end. I am living under hospice care.

I write this letter on behalf of husbands and wives who have lost spouses, on behalf of children who have lost a parent, on behalf of the fathers and mothers who have lost sons and daughters and on behalf of those who care for the many thousands of my fellow veterans who have brain injuries. I write this letter on behalf of those veterans whose trauma and self-revulsion for what they have witnessed, endured and done in Iraq have led to suicide and on behalf of the active-duty soldiers and Marines who commit, on average, a suicide a day. I write this letter on behalf of the some 1 million Iraqi dead and on behalf of the countless Iraqi wounded. I write this letter on behalf of us all—the human detritus your war has left behind, those who will spend their lives in unending pain and grief.

*********************************
“You may evade justice but in our eyes
you are each guilty of egregious war
crimes, of plunder and, finally, of murder,
including the murder of thousands of
young Americans – my fellow veterans –
whose future you stole.”
*********************************

I write this letter, my last letter, to you, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney. I write not because I think you grasp the terrible human and moral consequences of your lies, manipulation and thirst for wealth and power. I write this letter because, before my own death, I want to make it clear that I, and hundreds of thousands of my fellow veterans, along with millions of my fellow citizens, along with hundreds of millions more in Iraq and the Middle East, know fully who you are and what you have done. You may evade justice but in our eyes you are each guilty of egregious war crimes, of plunder and, finally, of murder, including the murder of thousands of young Americans—my fellow veterans—whose future you stole.

Your positions of authority, your millions of dollars of personal wealth, your public relations consultants, your privilege and your power cannot mask the hollowness of your character. You sent us to fight and die in Iraq after you, Mr. Cheney, dodged the draft in Vietnam, and you, Mr. Bush, went AWOL from your National Guard unit. Your cowardice and selfishness were established decades ago. You were not willing to risk yourselves for our nation but you sent hundreds of thousands of young men and women to be sacrificed in a senseless war with no more thought than it takes to put out the garbage.

I joined the Army two days after the 9/11 attacks. I joined the Army because our country had been attacked. I wanted to strike back at those who had killed some 3,000 of my fellow citizens. I did not join the Army to go to Iraq, a country that had no part in the September 2001 attacks and did not pose a threat to its neighbors, much less to the United States. I did not join the Army to “liberate” Iraqis or to shut down mythical weapons-of-mass-destruction facilities or to implant what you cynically called “democracy” in Baghdad and the Middle East. I did not join the Army to rebuild Iraq, which at the time you told us could be paid for by Iraq’s oil revenues. Instead, this war has cost the United States over $3 trillion. I especially did not join the Army to carry out pre-emptive war. Pre-emptive war is illegal under international law. And as a soldier in Iraq I was, I now know, abetting your idiocy and your crimes. The Iraq War is the largest strategic blunder in U.S. history. It obliterated the balance of power in the Middle East. It installed a corrupt and brutal pro-Iranian government in Baghdad, one cemented in power through the use of torture, death squads and terror. And it has left Iran as the dominant force in the region. On every level—moral, strategic, military and economic—Iraq was a failure. And it was you, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney, who started this war. It is you who should pay the consequences.

I would not be writing this letter if I had been wounded fighting in Afghanistan against those forces that carried out the attacks of 9/11. Had I been wounded there I would still be miserable because of my physical deterioration and imminent death, but I would at least have the comfort of knowing that my injuries were a consequence of my own decision to defend the country I love. I would not have to lie in my bed, my body filled with painkillers, my life ebbing away, and deal with the fact that hundreds of thousands of human beings, including children, including myself, were sacrificed by you for little more than the greed of oil companies, for your alliance with the oil sheiks in Saudi Arabia, and your insane visions of empire.

I have, like many other disabled veterans, suffered from the inadequate and often inept care provided by the Veterans Administration. I have, like many other disabled veterans, come to realize that our mental and physical wounds are of no interest to you, perhaps of no interest to any politician. We were used. We were betrayed. And we have been abandoned. You, Mr. Bush, make much pretense of being a Christian. But isn’t lying a sin? Isn’t murder a sin? Aren’t theft and selfish ambition sins? I am not a Christian. But I believe in the Christian ideal. I believe that what you do to the least of your brothers you finally do to yourself, to your own soul.

My day of reckoning is upon me. Yours will come. I hope you will be put on trial. But mostly I hope, for your sakes, that you find the moral courage to face what you have done to me and to many, many others who deserved to live. I hope that before your time on earth ends, as mine is now ending, you will find the strength of character to stand before the American public and the world, and in particular the Iraqi people, and beg for forgiveness.

HOW WOULD YOU ANSWER ALLAH?

New World Order = Injustice & Oppression

On The Day Of Judgment:
How Would You Answer Allah?

Did you enjoin what is right?
Did you forbid what is wrong?
Did you fight injustice, oppression?
Did you help the victims of aggression?
Don’t you know that silent spectators
are partners of the oppressors?

(M. Javed Naseem)

“… Tumult and oppression are worse
(bigger crimes) than killing…”
(al-Quran 2:217)

The ‘New World Order’ means ‘slavery and oppression’ at the hands of a few powerful but evil elements – the oppressors of the world. Justice, fairness, faithfulness, loyalty, honesty, sincerity, truthfulness and hard-work would not be appreciated, it would rather be punished. The only acceptable loyalty would be the loyalty to the oppressors – the controllers and plunderers of the world. If you raise voice or protest against injustice and oppression, you would be eliminated. Killing is not a crime for them. They slaughter humans for any reason to create fear and terror. It’s their way or no way! The Devils have become so strong and powerful that they are not only supported by the corrupt politicians and community leaders but also by the opportunist religious scholars and Muftis or Imams in the Muslim world. This is the ‘End Period’.

We are going through this phase (or period) in the history now. People are terrorized. They are so scared that they don’t raise their voices against injustice or oppression or even aggression. On the contrary, they accept it and become a tool in the hands of the oppressors and aggressors. According to the Quran, persecution, tumult and oppression are worse than killing people. Allah says:

“…For tumult and oppression
are worse than slaughter…”
(al-Quran 2:191)

So, who is going to change this situation if we are not going to try ourselves?

How would we answer Allah on the Day of Judgment? How would we explain and what would we say if Allah asked:

What did you do when your brethren were starving to death because they had no food, water, clothing or shelter?

What did you do when other humans suffered due to Tsunami, earthquakes, fires, floods and other calamities? Did you help the victims?

What did you do when the unbelievers and the Munafiqeen unleashed the terror through killing and bloodshed in Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Egypt, Sudan, Bosnia,  Yemen, Kashmir, Burma, Chechenya, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, etc.? Did you try to stop the bloodshed? Did you ward off evil aggression and fight back in the way of Allah? Did you help the Muslim victims?

What did you do when, in Pakistan, the goons of rich Makhdooms (feudal lords) humiliated the Muslim women of the poor opposite group, stripped them naked and forced them to march in the streets with thousands of spectators? They were crying for help.

What did you do when, in Sialkot/Pakistan, goons of the influential feudal lords beat to death with cricket bats two young brothers, with Police and thousands others watching? Those two Muslim brothers were crying for help.

What did you do when the Kaafireen were spreading viruses, AIDS, diseases and maladies in the poor countries, and made millions of dollars by selling them ‘treated water’ in the name of vaccine?

What did you do when the unbelievers were destroying your culture and misleading your future generations through TV/media, promoting nudity, sex, dance, music and labeling it as ‘star academy’ or ‘talent shows’? Why did you replace the Quranic education?

Why did you disobey Allah when He repeatedly warned you in the Quran of the Shaitan (the Devil) and commanded you not to follow his footsteps?

Why didn’t you pay thanks to Allah, the Merciful, for all the blessings and bounties He bestowed upon you in this worldly life despite His reminders in the Quran?

“….. For Allah is full of bounty to mankind,
but Most of them are ungrateful.”
(al-Quran 2:243)

“And when your Lord proclaimed: If you
give thanks, I will give you more; but if you
are thankless, lo! My punishment is dire.”
(al-Quran 14:7)

I am sure you don’t have any answers to the above questions. You better start working on it and prepare some answers before it’s over. And it would be over in a few years. Guaranteed!

There is left only a small minority of pious, honest and righteous people in the world and they are doing whatever they can to guide others and wake them up. They are clinging to ‘Hope’ and hope never dies! Why? Because hope is related to Allah and He loves to help and guide humans when they cry for help. Allah has commanded us to promote good (or righteousness) and forbid evil (or wrong-doing, corruption).

“You are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind,
enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong,
and believing in Allah. If only the People of the
Book had faith, it were best for them; among them
are some who have faith, but most of them are
perverted transgressors.”
(al-Quran 3:110)

We are all crying for help these days but how many of us really qualify for Allah’s help? Allah helps those who help themselves. To qualify for help, we should fight the injustice and oppression. We should obey the commands of Allah. We should try to do all we can and then leave the rest to Allah. In the meantime, we patiently persevere and pray. That’s the procedure to seek Allah’s help (except in emergency). Allah says:

“O you who believe! Seek help with patient
perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with
those who patiently persevere.”
(al-Quran 2:153)

It is very unfortunate that we Muslims take neither Islam nor the Quran seriously. We take one part and leave the other. We look for easy way out and while choosing that, we don’t even care that we are disobeying Allah’s command for the other part. For example, these days every Muslim country is facing problems – some are going through the worst bloodshed ever. There is evil, wrong-doing and corruption all over. Naturally, everybody is complaining or protesting. But the question is: When things started going wrong, in the beginning of the crisis, what did we do to fix them? Did we play our part and discharge our obligations of “amr bil maaroof wa nahi-a anil munker”? Did we obey and observe the command of Allah to ‘ward off evil’?
No, we did not. We let things get out of control. We are not true believers (Muslims). Allah has defined the true believers in the Holy Quran:

“The Believers, men and women, are protectors
one of another. They enjoin what is just, and forbid
what is evil. They observe regular prayers, practice
regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger.
On them will Allah pour His mercy,
for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise.”
(al-Quran 9:71)

We did not enjoin what was just/right and we did not forbid what was evil/wrong. We didn’t do our duty and now we complain because the punishment is knocking at our doors! It is too late. When there was time to stop the evil, we did not. We said it was not our problem because it was not happening to us. It has spread since then and now we are in the middle of it with no way out. The flames of the fire of evil have eventually engulfed us. Who is responsible for that? Others, of course, and not us!

The saying goes: What you sow, so shall you reap.
So, we are reaping it now!

But there is another saying: Better late than never!
If we repent now and turn to Allah begging for His pardon and mercy, He’ll surely forgive us. With His mercy and help we can be redirected to the right path. Just listen and follow the righteous people who are calling on you (and I am not talking about Mullahs or Jaahil promoters of religion or the bearded politicians)!

“Let there arise out of you a group of people
inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right,
and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones
who are successful.”
(al-Quran 3:104)

“They believe in Allah and the Last Day;
they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong;
and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works.
They are in the ranks of the righteous.
(al-Quran 3:114)

Judge yourself and others according to the standards set by the Quran; as per the rules and the yardstick prescribed for you by Allah. And here’s that yardstick with which you can measure the righteous believers:

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَٱلإحْسَانِ وَإِيتَآءِ ذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ
عَنِ ٱلْفَحْشَاءِ وَٱلْمُنْكَرِ وَٱلْبَغْىِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
“Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and
liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful
deeds, and injustice and rebellion. He instructs you,
that you may receive admonition.”
(al-Quran 16:90)

“Those that turn (to Allah) in repentance; that serve
Him, and praise Him; that wander in devotion to the
cause of Allah, that bow down and prostrate themselves
in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe
the limits set by Allah (These do rejoice).
So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers.”
(al-Quran 9:112)

Those who claim to be Muslims but practically behave like the Kaafireen, they are not true believers. They are called the ‘Munafiqeen’ (the hypocrites). They have the Muslim names only. They don’t practice Islam. They read the Quran but they don’t apply it to their lives. On the Day of Judgment, they would become the fuel of Hellfire. You’ll find them in every Muslim country these days. They are very influential and shape the educational and cultural policies of those countries. Their main goals are to destroy Islamic culture, eliminate Quranic education and promote nudity, vulgarity, sex-education and perversion in the name of liberty/freedom.

“The Hypocrites, men and women, (have an understanding)
with each other: They enjoin evil, and forbid what is just,
and are close with their hands. They have forgotten Allah;
so He has forgotten them. Verily the Hypocrites are
rebellious and perverse.”
(al-Quran 9:67)

These are the people we should be fighting against. These are the people that need to be eliminated from the Islamic culture and society. They are the aggressors who have attacked your Deen, misguided your future generation and are trying to ruin your ‘Aakhirah’ or the Hereafter. They are the enemies of Islam, enemies of Allah!

“And fight them on until there is no more tumult
or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith
in Allah; but if they cease, let there be no hostility
except to those who practice oppression.
(al-Quran 2:193)

“And fight them on until there is no more tumult
or oppression, and there prevails justice and faith
in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they
cease, verily Allah does see all what they do.”
(al-Quran 8:39)

Ahadith from the Sahih Bukhari:

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him."
(Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, No. 629)

Narrated Abdullah bin Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor (Examples: Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, Ben Laden, etc.) . Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection."
(Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, No. 622)

Narrated Anas:
Allah’s apostle said: Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or the oppressed one.
People asked, "O Allah's Apostle! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?"
The Prophet said, "By preventing him from oppressing others."
(Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, No. 624)

Narrated Ibn Umar:
The Prophet said, "Oppression will be a darkness on the Day of Resurrection."
(Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, No. 627)

Narrated Ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (s.a.w.) sent Mu'adh to Yemen (as Governor) and said, "Be afraid from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah."
(Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, No. 628)
