SEEDS OF DESTRUCTION - Legalizing Marijuana, Part 1/2

First The Poisonous GM Foods,
And Now The ‘Healthy’ Pot.

Legalizing Marijuana
Guess Who’s Pulling The Strings?
The Same People!
(Part 1 or 2)

Legal pot sales would be
up 25% in the U.S. in 2016,
to an estimated $6.7 billion,
and $21.8 billion by 2020,
and it’ll surpass the NFL.

(By M. Javed Naseem)

The world is coming to an end or what? Why are they doing it to us? All those wars of invasion, bombing and the bloodshed in Iraq, Palestine, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Libya, Sudan, Burma, Somalia, Syria, Africa, etc., etc. are pushing the mankind to the wall. And if you are lucky to somehow survive that, they are killing you with ‘new’ food which also entails new diseases and cancers. If you still survive, they’ll make you a drug-addict. They are deliberately bringing the world to an end before its natural end (which is also not very far)! It’s all about money! But money is not evil; it’s those chasing money who are evil.
Do you think that you would be better off living in a Third World country? At least you would eat all natural ‘bio’ food there. But then there are other worries there. You are not safe anywhere these days. If it’s not the bullet, it’s the food. What an irony!

=================================
They are manipulating the working
middle class and converting them into
a ‘consumer society of drug-addicts’?
=================================

In the modern cultures of America and Europe today, politicians are pushing for legalizing Cannabis (Marijuana). They claim that this weed has some extra-ordinary healing properties and humanity should be allowed to benefit from it. Just yesterday they were putting people behind bars for benefiting from it.

**********************************
The Argument:
“CBD, an active cannabinoid found in
cannabis, has been found to have a wide
range of benefits, including lowering blood
sugar levels, promoting bone growth, and
importantly, protecting the human brain
and nervous system from degeneration.”

**********************************
(Read the details of this pro-argument in Part-2, next Friday!)

The debate on Marijuana is very old but in recent years the movement “Legalize Marijuana” has picked up momentum. There is some genuine progress made by the pro lobby with the help of scientific research. Now, they support their argument with a list of beneficial uses of marijuana and hemp. But they had the similar lists in support of alcohol, coffee and chocolate. How would they regulate the use of marijuana, just like alcohol? Alcohol is playing havoc in our society with a lot of deaths and crimes. The regulation is faulty and is not working as it lacks discipline.

They don’t know what they want. But some among them do know what they want and how much! And they are the ones who are using politicians and activists to push their agenda with the help of corrupt media. The results are very encouraging for them and in America they are winning state after state.
It’s funny that in countries of Asia and Latin America this problem (of Marijuana) is not a big problem. It never becomes an election issue. It is somewhat regulated but you would find people in parks, at street corners and slums smoking it openly. Nobody seems to care! I guess they have different priorities, and nobody ever thought of exploiting them and making it a million-dollar industry.

A modern day ‘gold rush’ but
with an underlying agenda at
hand – with a few very wealthy
individuals pulling the strings.

**************************
Recently, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the headlines when he declared that he had been using Marijuana. He made a case for legalizing marijuana but focused on minimizing harm as opposed to maximizing benefits. He wanted to regulate the underage access to marijuana and to reduce criminal activity surrounding illegal marijuana trade. Sounds good!

I have no doubt that Canadians and entrepreneurs will be tremendously innovative in finding ways to create positive economic benefits from the legalization and control of marijuana, but our focus is on protecting kids and protecting our streets,” Trudeau said.

You can look at the same issue from different angles and aspects. Carolanne Wright looks at this campaign from a different perspective which is also shocking.

When it comes down to it, corporations have just one purpose: turn a large profit for shareholders. So it should come as no surprise that corporate America has turned its eye toward the wildly successful recreational cannabis movement. In 2015 alone, legal pot sales in the United States jumped 17% to $5.4 billion and are expected to grow 25% this year — an estimated $6.7 billion in U.S. sales. And, of course, corporate interests want their share.
But it’s not simply a modern day gold rush, many feel there is an underlying agenda at hand — with a few very wealthy individuals pulling the strings.

Exploding cannabis market
The numbers behind legalized pot sales are astonishing considering the first recreational dispensaries opened for business in Colorado a mere two years ago. And this is only the beginning.
According to ArcView Market Research, the legal cannabis market will be worth a staggering $21.8 billion total sales by 2020. To put this in perspective, when the legalized marijuana market hits that point, it will surpass the National Football League, which is estimated to reach $25 billion by 2027.
Four states and the District of Columbia have legalized recreational marijuana to date, with a total 23 states having legalized medical marijuana. A half-dozen additional states are considering opening up legalized recreational use with ballot measures in autumn 2016.
California is one state that is being watched with great anticipation, where a large portion of the total industry is accounted for with medical marijuana sales. If the state legalizes recreational marijuana this November, the sky is the limit for industry sales. Add to this the revamping of recreational cannabis legislation in Colorado, Oregon and Washington — which will allow investors from around the U.S. to finance the legal marijuana industry — and it’s no wonder corporate heavy hitters are attentive.

But it’s not all glory for the movement, there are those who feel there’s a hidden agenda, one that is controlled by corporate interests and a few exceptionally wealthy individuals who have ties to the biotech industry and Big Pharma.

************************************
George Soros appears to be a hero of the
cannabis movement — helping states (and
even an entire country) pass legislation for
medical and recreational use. But he also has
and Monsanto as a major stock holder — the
same chemical corporation and biotech giant
that developed Agent Orange, DDT, PCBs,
toxic pesticides, rBGH, Roundup Ready and
genetically engineered Frankenfoods.

************************************

Hidden motives for legalized cannabis
Portrayed as a grassroots movement, you may not realize that the driving force behind legalization of both medical and recreational marijuana is none other than billionaire George Soros. Along with a cadre of other wealthy donors, Soros has spent at least $80 million in the quest of legalizing cannabis. Through his Foundation to Promote an Open Society, he has funneled donations to the Drug Policy Alliance — a non-profit organization with “the principal goal of ending the American ‘War on Drugs’.”
He also donates annually to the American Civil Liberties Union, an organization which funds marijuana legalization efforts, and gives to the Marijuana Policy Project, which supports state ballot measures.
In the official paper, “DEA Position on Marijuana” the agency points out that “a few wealthy businessmen — not broad grassroots support — started and sustain the ‘medical’ marijuana and drug legalization movements in the U.S. Without their money and influence, the drug legalization movement would shrivel.”

Moreover, Soros was instrumental in Uruguay becoming the first country to legalize cultivation, sale and consumption of marijuana. He sits on the board of the Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) — the world’s most powerful organization regarding the legalization of marijuana. The DPA is not only extremely influential in the United States, but also in Uruguay and other Latin American countries.

George Soros appears to be a hero of the cannabis movement — helping states (and even an entire country) pass legislation for medical and recreational use. But he also has strong ties with the pharmaceutical industry and Monsanto as a major stock holder — the same chemical corporation and biotech giant that developed Agent Orange, DDT, PCBs, toxic pesticides, rBGH, Roundup Ready and genetically engineered Frankenfoods. While the widely circulated urban myth that Monsanto is currently developing genetically modified cannabis is false, if you dig a bit deeper, it turns out the corporation quietly conducts research projects on tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) found in marijuana for the apparent purpose of genetically modifying the plant at a future date.

Seeds of Destruction:
“David Watson of the Dutch company Hortapharm has since 1990 created the world’s largest collection of Cannabis seed varieties. In 1998, the British firm GW Pharmaceuticals signed an agreement with Hortapharm that gives GW Pharma the rights to use the Hortapharm cannabis for their research.

In 2003 the German Bayer AG then signed an agreement with GW Pharmaceuticals for joint research on a cannabis-based extract. In 2007, Bayer AG agreed to an exchange of technology with Monsanto. Thus Monsanto has discreet access to the work of the cannabis plant and its genetic modification. In 2009 GW Pharmaceuticals announced that it had succeeded in genetically altering a cannabis plant and patented a new breed of cannabis.”
Engdahl believes it doesn’t take a large stretch of the imagination to see that Monsanto could very well be laying the groundwork for a future controlling patented cannabis seeds, especially since Uruguay’s president Mujica has expressed a desire to create unique genetic codes for marijuana within his country in order to undermine the blackmarket. Monsanto could easily step in and accommodate Mujica’s wish, considering the history the biotech corporation has had in Uruguay over the decades growing GMO soybeans and maize.
Back in the United States, it’s interesting to note that the criminalization of both industrial hemp and marijuana has been financially lucrative for a range of industries, like the prison system and military-industrial complex, along with the banking, fossil fuel, timber, cotton and pharmaceutical industries. In light of this, Conrad Justice Kiczenski warns:
“The next stage in continuing this control is in the regulation, licensing and taxation of Cannabis cultivation and use through the only practical means available to the corporate system, which is through genetic engineering and patenting of the Cannabis genome.”

WE NEED GOD, God Doesn't Need Us.

We Need God,
God Doesn’t Need Us.
If We Reject Him,
He Will Reject Us.

He offered us a win/win deal,
An all-profit and no-loss trade!

Lessons From Surah al-Fatir
(The Originator, The Initiator)

(M. Javed Naseem)

(Arabic caligraphy: La ilaha illa-Allah - There's no god but Allah.)
Most of the chapters (Surahs) of the Holy Quran are not confined to one particular subject. They are rather multi-subject narrations. This way, if a non-Muslim (stranger to the Quran) gets hold of a chapter, he can benefit from the narrations that cover a range of subjects.
Surah al-Fatir is the 35th chapter among the 114 chapters of the Quran. The Arabic word ‘Fatir’ means the Originator, the Initiator. And that refers to the Supreme Creator – Allah!

He Is The One. Acknowledge Him!
Allah created everything – everything meaning the things we have seen and the things we have not seen or even cannot see. As His creation, it is only logical that we glorify His name as everything in the universe does it.

“Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing)
the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels,
messengers with wings - two, or three, or four
(pairs). He adds to Creation as He pleases,
for Allah has power over all things.”
(al-Quran 35:1)

He reminds us that there is no power besides Him who can run the affairs of this universe and sustain all creation.

“It is Allah Who sustains the heavens and
the earth, lest they cease (to function); and
if they should fail, there is none - not one –
who can sustain them thereafter. Verily
He is Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.”
(al-Quran 35:41)

Be Grateful For His Blessings!
If we realistically look at ourselves, we would immediately know that we survive with His mercy and blessings only. He is our sole-Provider. Therefore, He merits all praise and glory. We are His humble servants.

“O mankind! Call to mind the grace of Allah
unto you! Is there a creator, other than Allah,
to give you sustenance from heaven or earth?
There is no god but He. How then are you
deluded away from the Truth?”
(al-Quran 35:3)

His Promise Is True!
We better believe Him when He tells that our life on this world is like an illusion. The real life is in the Hereafter and we should be striving for that. The only person that hinders our path is the Satan (Devil).

“O mankind! Certainly the promise of Allah
is true. Let not then this present life deceive
you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you
about Allah.”
(al-Quran 35:5)

Satan Is Our Enemy!
Satan (the Devil) became the enemy of mankind since the day God created Adam. For his disobedience, God destined Satan to Hell but was given respite till the Day of Judgment. Until then, he is trying his best to prove his point that it is not only him who disobeyed God but man is also disobedient to God. And we all know how far he is right!

“Verily Satan is an enemy to you, so treat
him as an enemy! He only invites his adherents,
that they may become Companions of the
Blazing Fire.”
(al-Quran 35:6)

Don’t Deny Him!
He is the Creator, the Cherisher, the Sustainer, the Provider, the Beneficent and the Merciful. So, pay Him His due! If you reject or deny Him, you will be rejected and denied!

“For those who reject Allah, there is a terrible
Penalty but for those who believe and work
righteous deeds, is forgiveness, and a
magnificent Reward.”
(al-Quran 35:7)

Don’t Plot Evil For Others!
He is the Most Merciful and He loves that His Creation (Humans) are merciful to each other too. He likes piety and righteousness and He rewards for that generously. But if one tries to hurt fellow human beings, he will be punished.

“Whoever seeks glory and power (should know)
that to Allah belongs all glory and power. To Him
mount up (all) good words. It is He Who exalts
each deed of righteousness. Those who lay plots
of Evil, for them is a Penalty terrible; and the
plotting of such will be void (of result).”
(al-Quran 35:10)

You Are Dust, So Be Humble!
Always remember what you are and who you are! You were created from dust and to dust will you go back. Be humble and treat others nicely!

“And Allah did create you from dust; then from
a sperm-drop; then He made you in pairs. And
no female conceives, or lays down (her load),
but with His knowledge. Nor is a man long-lived
granted length of days, nor is a part cut off from
his life, but is in a Decree (ordained).
All this is easy to Allah.”
(al-Quran 35:11)

Glorify The Supreme Creator!
You know that He is the Supreme Creator but you really don’t know how much and what else, apart from your own world, He has created. Travel to see His creation!

“Nor are the two bodies of flowing water
alike - the one palatable, sweet, and pleasant
to drink, and the other, salt and bitter. Yet from
each (kind of water) do you eat flesh fresh and
tender, and you extract ornaments to wear; and
you see the ships therein that plough the waves,
that you may seek (thus) of the Bounty of Allah
that you may be grateful.”
(al-Quran 35:12)

You Need Allah, He’s Free of Needs!
He is the King of the Kings and we are the beggars, no matter how much we accumulate. We always need Him because He is our Sustainer and Provider.

“O people! It is you that have need of Allah
but Allah is the One Free of all wants,
worthy of all praise. If He so pleased, He
could blot you out and bring in a new creation.
Nor is that (at all) difficult for Allah.”
(al-Quran 35:15-17)

Call On The Ever-Living!
The Dead Can’t Hear You!
Need help? Call on Him, any time, any day, anywhere! Ask Him and not his creation, especially the dead saints! A dead man can’t help the living!

“Nor are alike those that are living and
those that are dead. Allah can make any
that He wills to hear; but you cannot make
those to hear who are (buried) in graves.”
(al-Quran 35:22)

Rejection Merits Punishment!
Allah sent His Message to the mankind through Messengers and Prophets. Many people, in every age and era, rejected those Messengers and Prophets and denied His clear signs. Such deniers and rejecters merit punishment.

“And if they reject you, so did their
predecessors, to whom came their
messengers with clear signs, Books of
dark prophecies, and the Book of
Enlightenment. In the end did I punish
those who rejected Faith; and how
(terrible) was My rejection (of them)!”
(al-Quran 35:25-26)

The Key To Success!
You want success in this world and in the Hereafter, then here’s what Allah tells you to do.

“Those who rehearse the Book of Allah,
establish regular prayer, and spend (in
charity) out of what We have provided
for them, secretly and openly, hope for
a commerce that will never fail. For He
will pay them their wages, nay, He will
give them (even) more out of His Bounty,
for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready
to appreciate (service).”
(al-Quran 35:29-30)

Hellfire For The Ungrateful.
If you don’t appreciate what Allah gave you in this world, you are ungrateful. Allah does not like ungrateful people because they deny His blessings and favors. And that’s rejection! A severe punishment awaits those who reject signs of Allah.

“But those who reject (Allah), for them
will be the Fire of Hell. No term shall be
determined for them, so they should die,
nor shall its Penalty be lightened for them.
Thus do We reward every ungrateful one!”
“Therein will they cry aloud (for help): Our
Lord! Bring us out! We shall work righteousness,
not the (deeds) we used to do! "Did We not give
you long enough life so that he that would,
should receive admonition? And (moreover) the
Warner came to you. So taste (the fruits of your
deeds), for the wrong-doers there is no helper."
(al-Quran 35:36-37)

Allah’s Way: Good Is Rewarded With Good,
Evil With Evil.
Good is rewarded with good and evil is punished. That’s the law of Allah and He never changed it. Be afraid of Him if you commit evil.

“They showed their arrogance in the land
and their plotting of Evil, but the plotting
of Evil backfires on those only who make it.
Now are they but looking for the way the
ancients were dealt with? But no change
will you find in Allah's way (of dealing);
no turning off will you find in Allah's
way (of dealing).”
(al-Quran 35:43)

(There were nations that carved houses in the mountains)

Travel And Learn From Ruins!
Travel is education! You get the first-hand experience and knowledge of things that have been mentioned in the Scriptures. Go places and learn from the ruins!

(Petra of Jordan - Nations of Aad and Thamoud lived there)
“Do they not travel through the earth, and see
what was the end of those before them, though
they were superior to them in strength? Nor is
Allah to be frustrated by anything whatever in
the heavens or on earth, for He is All-Knowing,
All-Powerful.”
(al-Quran 35:44)

The Merciful Always Gives You A Break! Another Chance!
At the end of the day, it’s you in front of Him! Be prepared for that. He knows that you always falter. But He reminds you that never despair His mercy! If you regret and repent, He will forgive you. He’ll give you a break. He always gives you a second chance because He is the infinite Mercy!

“If Allah were to punish people according to
what they deserve, He would not leave on the
face of the (earth) a single living creature But
He gives them respite for a stated Term.
When their Term expires, verily Allah
has in His sight all His Servants.”
(al-Quran 35:45)

THE ENEMY WITHIN: A Few Evil Men Are Ruining Your World.

Profiteering From War Business
A Few Evil Men Are
Ruining Your World!

When The Powerful Elite Rule By Terror
And Pretend Fighting The Foreign Enemy,
They Are The Real Enemy!

(M. Javed Naseem)

Beware Of
The Enemy Within!

What if the real enemy is inside the country,
and wears expensive suits, not turbans?
What if he speaks your language while living
in luxury and sending his children to study at
Princeton, Yale and Harvard, while your kids are
sent off to fight in fraudulent wars for corporate
interests masquerading as ‘patriotism’?

*********************************
There is no going back from this
‘point-of-no-return’! We are sliding
(or being pushed systematically) into
the Hell-hole by those who are
dreaming to live on the Mars after
they destroy the planet Earth!

*********************************

The Zionists rule – they have been ruling the world for centuries by dividing it through World Wars. They are the only winners of this ‘bloody game’, everybody else loses! It is fashionable to talk about peace, harmony and tolerance, but what good is it if it cannot produce the results? Who is going to deliver peace and how?

Those who claim to have the power and means to deliver peace, they are the ones who are waging wars. They make their living from the war. War is their business that brings more profits than all other businesses put together. So, they are not going to quit by speeches and rallies.

******************************************
War is a dirty business that profits from death
and destruction while generating blood money for
the profiteers. The fraudulent and never-ending
war in Iraq has already cost over 3 trillion
dollars and counting – a steady flow of income
for all those who are employed
and benefiting from war.

******************************************
Wars are orchestrated. They are carefully planned and implemented by the vicious few who want to control and rule the majority. Those few who, through conspiracy and connivance, are profiteering from the business of death and destruction, cannot go far with their profits. They would be the eventual losers in this world and in the Hereafter as well.

”By (the token of) Time (through the ages),
verily man is in loss, except those who
believe, and do righteous deeds, and (join
together) in the mutual teaching of Truth,
and of Patience and Constancy.”
(al-Quran 103:1-3)

Today’s corrupt governments have come up with a new excuse, a new strategy to start a war of aggression against weaker nations without any justification and valid reason – ‘pre-emptive strike’ (or preventive war). The ‘triangle of evil’ –  America-Britain-Israel – has demonstrated that in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. They conspire, they plan together and they implement it without even caring how many millions of humans they are going to kill.

**********************************
The fraudulent and never-ending war
in Iraq has already cost over 3 trillion
dollars and counting – a steady flow of
income for all those who are employed
and benefiting from war.

**********************************

They use UN, NATO and the media. And if things backfire, all they shamelessly say is: Oh! It was a mistake! They refer to human loss of life and property as ‘collateral damage’.

There is no punishment, no reprimand, no trial for the culprits like George Bush, Dick Cheney, Tony Blair, etc., and also no justice for the millions of victims who have no future and  continue to suffer even today.

The Business of War
is the Cause of War
By Ethan Indigo Smith & Sergey Baranov
(Wake Up World, pub. May 8, 2016)

If you objectively and consistently observe the mainstream media and its interpretation of global events, its ommissive and deceptive character soon becomes abundantly clear. This could hardly be called incompetence. The coverage, which is popularly called ‘news’, is in fact nothing but a propaganda mechanism, designed to persistently shape public opinion in favor of war.
Although most prefer to believe government propaganda is a thing of the past, history shows us that it is an inherent part of any wartime society, obscuring facts and motivations in favor of those who initiate — and benefit from — war.

Who Benefits From War?

Certainly not the people on the warring sides. People always suffer in war; their futures ruined and their lives destroyed. In fear, they look to their government to protect them, the very same government that is invested in war. War is a dirty business that profits from death and destruction while generating blood money for the profiteers. The people are told to look the other way, outside of their country – where the ‘enemy’ supposedly resides.
But what if the real enemy is inside the country, and wears expensive suits, not turbans? What if he speaks your language while living in luxury and sending his children to study at Princeton, Yale and Harvard, while your kids are sent off to fight in fraudulent wars for corporate interests masquerading as ‘patriotism’?

Open Your Eyes! You Are
Being Fooled By The Media!

This is in fact jingoism – a nationalized furvor of aggression, based on the notion of supremacy, and usually founded in a lust for power and riches. This mindset, of course, isn’t new and is no different from Adolf Hitler’s extreme nationalism, or fascism.
Today we are living under the rule of oligarchical elites that continuously consolidate power in order to control and confine humanity while methodically stripping us of the power to govern ourselves. One of the best ways to achieve this is to keep the people in constant fear of wars and threats of terrorism that, in reality, governments themselves typically create or sponsor. For example, we can look at the current threat of ISIS which is in fact a remodel of Al-Qaida, a group the CIA created in the 1970’s to fight the Russians in Afghanistan.

Constant mainstream promotion of ISIS with videos of beheadings and other types of inhuman cruelty is used to scare the American people into the further submission, and ever-greater losses of rights and personal freedoms.

The growing surveillance and domestic police state, and the passage of laws including the recent renewal of the Patriot Act, wouldn’t be possible without always frightening the general public. Governmental policies of perpetual war ensure the constant funding of the military industrial complex, which has taken control over the government, as Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States had foreseen and warned the U.S. public about in 1961.

How can we stop the war machine?

Well, certainly not by fighting against it using its means. That’s what the machine is designed for, and an armed resistance will only be playing into its hands. After all, they’ve got the nukes and they will use them as they have already done in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There are no survivors under mushroom clouds – everybody dies. There is no defense in the case of a nuclear war being unleashed – unless you were to commit yourself to living underground in a bunker for the rest of your life, without ever again seeing and feeling the sunshine. It is a death by a thousand cuts if you remain on the surface.

There is no technology to clean up radiation and take it out of the air, water and land. The half-life of nuclear radiation is millions of years. That means that during this time, the radioactive particles will remain as deadly as they are today. This could be the end of all of us if nuclear war were to be released on a massive scale – a probability that is as high today as it has ever been, and growing proportionally with the insanity of global politics. The cold war between the Soviet Union and USA never ended, only slowly heated up. And even though the nuclear arms race developed through paranoia, the threat of nuclear war today, is in fact a very present and real one.

The Motives:
War defeats the rights of individuals and empowers institutions. Wars do not happen naturally. They are orchestrated for political and economic advantage by corporate and government entities to which human life is only a means to a greater profit and power. The United States of America is not the only country in which the military industrial complex has taken over. The same can be seen in many other modern nations. ‘War is good for the economy’ is a slogan often heard on the news in Israel. But for which economy? For the economy of peace, or for the economy of war? Is it good for the people? Or is it good for those who are in the business of bullets and bombs?

Traveling the world and observing ordinary people, one will inevitably come to the conclusion that no one actually wants war. Regardless of the geographical location, nationality, skin color, social status etc., people want peace, and to see their children grow. Wars, although they may appear that way, are not fought between people. They are fought between military industrial factions and alliances warring for domination and control. But, while the average person either side of an orchestrated conflict wants to be left alone to live his or her life in peace, governments, corporations and institutions drag us into conflict time and again. The world has become a place where corporate interests, backed by corrupt governments, all funded by evil banks, violate human rights, freedom and dignity beyond measure. This poses an existential threat to the survival of our species that will not abate as long as the military industrial complex maintains its grip on our society and our culture.
Banks financing the governments of warring sides are even more heavily involved than the war materials industries. They fund the entire game by lending money to the governments, further sinking nations in debt, while they use this money to kill each other off. Federal spending surges as the military is mobilized. Outlays for troops, weapons and munitions increases as conflicts escalate. The fraudulent and never-ending war in Iraq has already cost over 3 trillion dollars and counting – a steady flow of income for all those who are employed and benefiting from war.
Furthermore, war is not only fought so as to engage the outsiders and force political will abroad, but also to keep the revolutionaries within our domestic borders bound and controlled. Believing in the benefits of war and accepting of the domestic controls imposed during wartime, they become stuck in the mind-state of war, a psychological trap of service to institutional leviathans rather than living beings.
So, what is the way to a global peace? Certainly it isn’t paved with war… how absurd! Nor is it paved with threats and rhetoric of war. There must be another way to shut down this engine of death

Realizing that war is an instrument to
have us ‘kill or be killed’ on behalf of
corporate and imperialist interests, we
should be refusing the very notion of war,
no matter how much we are lied to and
instigated to do otherwise. We must
understand the nature of war, refuse
to engage in war, and peacefully confront
those institutions that promote and
precipitate war. And we all need to wake
up and get involved before it happens.

What we need is genuine diplomacy, not more rhetoric of war. It is only through understanding the bigger picture that we will surpass the greedy leviathans of war; by  understanding that war is not actually perpetuated for the reasons we think, and are told. We need to open our hearts and minds to individuals and close them to institutions, understanding that anyone fighting and threatening war using the rhetoric of war for political gains is on one side — the side of the institutions, not the people they claim to represent.
There are always only two sides to every war, those who kill their brothers and those who do not. Choose peace.

PITY THE NATION Full of Beliefs, Empty of Religion!

Pity The Nation
Full of Beliefs, Empty of Religion!

Corrupt Muslim Leaders Are
Fooling The Corrupt Nations
To Plunder Their Wealth

(M. Javed Naseem)

“Corruption does appear on land and sea
because of (the evil) which men’s hands
have done, that He may make them taste
a part of that which they have done,
in order that they may return.”
(al-Quran 30:41)

The Earth belongs to God Almighty. Whatever we do here, we’ll definitely bear the consequences of that. When we were sent down to earth, we were given a set of rules and regulations to follow. And as in any society, if you break the rules you are liable to punishment or reprisal.
For a layman, things are in black and white. A line has been drawn between right and wrong nothing in between. But the modern man has blurred the line and added colors to the scene. He has no courage to stand up against the evil and has no guts to face the reality either.  Therefore, he walks the blurred line, fooling himself and deceiving others, but at the same time claiming to be fair. He tries to please both sides of the conflict, and sometimes even favoring one over the other. His sweet lies earn him the title of a modern ‘diplomat’. The Almighty says:

“Confound not truth with falsehood,
nor knowingly conceal the truth.”
(al-Quran 2:42)

As a matter of fact, a tactful liar is considered a successful diplomat. The modern smart diplomat is a hypocrite that is “Munaafiq” in Islamic terminology. He is a person who fools both parties with his lies, unfair tactics, deceptions and sweet-talk. You can even challenge his honesty.

Pity the nation that is full of beliefs
and empty of religion!
Pity the nation that wears a cloth
it does not weave, and
eats a bread it does not harvest!
-- Khalil Gibran

********************************
We have gone blind or have turned into crooks who change the values, laws, rules and regulations to serve our own interests, with no respect for justice and humanity.

“Lo, Allah commands you that you restore
deposits to their owners, and if you judge
between mankind, then you judge justly.”
(al-Quran 4:58)

A nation should demand justice, equality and respect as its birth-right.  There are moral values and civic laws that govern a society. In the absence of those values and laws, there would be chaos. It would be like living in a jungle. When people stop thinking and stop asking ‘how’ and ‘why’, they become a dead society. Such people are like a herd of sheep that will follow even a dummy.

Have you seen the modern hobby of the rich, the dog race? The dogs chase a dummy rabbit. They don’t even feel that the rabbit is a toy. People   of the developing nations are being programmed like that these days. The leaders in those countries are installed by the foreign special interest’ groups. The ‘dummy’ runs the affairs, as he is told to, and the nation follows. The dummy uses the media at his disposal and controls the nation by TV. People watch and obey; and the dummy breeds more dummies. The nations which don’t demand justice, don’t stand up against evil, and don’t fight for their own  rights,  they  are  as good  as  dead.  Miracles don’t happen unless you try to make them happen. You have to make an effort!

Lo! Allah changes not the condition of a folk
until they (first) change that which is in their hearts.”
(al-Quran 13:11)

In a society where anything goes’, you cannot expect justice, respect or honesty. Nations like that are doomed. They don’t make any effort to change their lives for the better. They just sit back and wait for something to happen. These days many countries have foreign armies on their soils to defend them. Vow! We did not learn any lesson from the history of nations. The people that don’t have faith in God, don’t respect their pledges and mandates; and cannot defend themselves, have no right to freedom!

“We destroyed the generations before
you when they did wrong; and their
messengers (from Allah) came unto
them with clear proofs of His sovereignty),
but they would not believe. Thus do We
reward the guilty folk.”
(al-Quran 10:13)

What logic do we see in doing wrong and still expecting the blessings from Allah? It does not work that way. The saying goes:  First deserve then desire. We can ask Allah for His help only when we obey Him and try our best for a good cause.

Khalil Gibran said:

“Pity the nation that raises not its voice,
Save when it walks in a funeral;
Boasts not except among its ruins, and will rebel not save when its neck is laid between the sword and the block.”

We have exactly the same situation today. We are almost dead as a nation. We have no character, no dignity and no identity.

Sheikh Saadi of Shiraz (Iran) said that you cannot produce a good sword from a bad metal; meaning that you cannot produce quality product from the low-grade raw material. Nations of the world are laughing at our leaders and politicians. They are ridiculing the Muslim nation. And we can see it why! We have become a nation of the mediocre, the inefficient, the incompetent and the dishonest. No wonder we are producing the same kind of leaders and politicians.

Khalil Gibran wrote the following poem in the early1930’s and it was published in 1933, after his death. It seems that the situation in the1930s was not much different from the current one in the year 2016. The humans don’t change much for the better. How sad! If you try to apply the above thoughts on todays Muslim world, they fit perfectly. Khalil Gibran could see the future of the Ummah.

Pity The Nation
(From: The Garden of The Prophet)

Pity the nation that is full of beliefs and empty of religion.
Pity the nation that wears a cloth it does not weave
and eats a bread it does not harvest.

Pity the nation that acclaims the bully as hero,
and that deems the glittering conqueror bountiful.

Pity a nation that despises a passion in its dream,
                    yet submits in its awakening.

Pity the nation that raises not its voice
save when it walks in a funeral,
boasts not except among its ruins,
and will rebel not save when its neck is laid
between the sword and the block.

Pity the nation whose statesman is a fox,
                    whose philosopher is a juggler,
and whose art is the art of patching and mimicking

Pity the nation that welcomes its new ruler with trumpeting,
                    and farewells him with hooting,
only to welcome another with trumpeting again.

Pity the nation whose sages are dumb with years
and whose strongmen are yet in the cradle.

Pity the nation divided into fragments,
each fragment deeming itself a nation.”

(From “The Garden of The Prophet”, by Khalil Gibran, published in 1933)
