Are We Being Replaced?

Time To Reflect, O People of Understanding!

This is the final phase! The mankind is going through the initial stages of the End Time which is spread over many years. People, in the past, have always predicted the ‘end’ in a particular year (the latest being the 2012 as per Maya calendar) but that can’t be true. There will be a period of peace, justice, law and order before the final trumpet is blown. Before that, there’ll be chaos, bloodshed, corruption and injustice.

We still have to go through many years of turbulence and bloodshed before the advent of the Promised Messiah (Mahdi). According to the authentic predictions he’ll rule at least seven years (or more) and during this period Prophet Jesus (the son of Mary) will reappear. Prophet Jesus will eventually kill the ‘great evil’ – the Anti-Christ or the ‘Fitnah of Final Dajjal’.

Right now, we are very close to the period of the advent of the Messiah or Mahdi. The doors of repentance are still open and we should be wise enough to take advantage of this before it is too late.

The history of mankind tells us (and the Quran reminds us) that all those earlier nations which rebelled against Allah; which rejected His message and ignored His signs; which ridiculed His laws and commands; and which spread corruption and mischief in the Earth, were punished and replaced with nations who, (in the beginning at least) obeyed Allah and followed the Messengers.

As they say, the history repeats itself. All those evils that have passed centuries ago, can be seen in the world today. The time is, again, ripe for another reshuffling and shedding the extra load on Earth.

The million dollar question pops up: Are we being replaced slowly?

As a matter of fact, it is not happening slowly. It is happening very fast for the last 25 years. We can see the increase in bloodshed, killings and destruction all over the world. Apart from the man-made destruction, Nature is also at work and helping in this regard with floods, earthquakes and fires. There is no escape!

This is the time, high time, that we read the Quran, try to understand it, ponder over its verses and act accordingly. Only remembrance of Allah, repentance and following the right path can save us; otherwise we are heading for the Hellfire.

أَفَلاَ يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْآنَ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ

غَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُواْ فِيهِ ٱخْتِلاَفاً كَثِيراً 
“Do they not then ponder on the Quran?

Had it been from other than Allah, they would

surely have found therein much discrepancy.” 
(al-Quran 4:82)

We need to change our ways. Allah wanted us to enforce His law in the Earth but we are arrogantly rejecting it; just like the earlier nations of the old. Corruption and evil-living has to stop if we want to escape from the rage and wrath of Allah. We cannot win against Allah. He is the One Who created us; and He knows us well too.

أَمْ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّئَاتِ أَن يَسْبِقُونَا سَآءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ

“Do those who practice evil think that they will

get the better of Us? Evil is their judgment!”

(al-Quran 29:4)

وَمَآ أَنتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ

وَمَا لَكُمْ مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ
"Not on earth nor in heaven will you be able (fleeing)

to frustrate (His plan), nor have you, besides Allah,

any protector or helper."

(al-Quran 29:22)

The Almighty has made it very clear! We cannot flee from Him. We should realize our ‘place’ as Creation in front of the Creator. We cannot play games with Him. He knows all the game plans. Therefore, the only choice we have, is to “do or die”!

Accept and implement honestly, sincerely and completely, the message of Truth. The Truth comes from Him. As the Bible says: “The Truth shall set you free”.

Allah is All-Powerful, Wise and All-Aware. It is not difficult for Him to do the same thing again that He did with the earlier nations – replace them with those who obey and glorify Him. It is up to us now. Only we can prove to Him that we are worthy of it or not.

فَلاَ أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْمَشَارِقِ وَٱلْمَغَارِبِ إِنَّا لَقَادِرُونَ

عَلَىٰ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيْراً مِّنْهُمْ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ

“But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and

the Wests that We are certainly able to replace

them by (others) better than them. And we are

not to be defeated (in Our Plan).”

(al-Quran 70:40-41)

نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِيلاً

 “It is We Who created them, and strengthened

their frame. And when We will, We can replace

them, bringing others like them in their stead.”

(al-Quran 76:28)

إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبِيلاً
“This is an admonition. Whosoever will,

let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord.”

(al-Quran 76:29)

If we obey Him, fear Him the way He should be feared, be thankful to Him and glorify Him, He’ll be pleased with us. And His pleasure means that we are saved from the Hellfire. Here’s the promise:

وَٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّالِحَاتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ

سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ ٱلَّذِى كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ
“Those who believe and work righteous deeds,

from them shall We blot out all evil (that may

be) in them, and We shall reward them

according to the best of their deeds.”

(al-Quran 29:7)
